Your place for community & resources to find or create work you love
We are so glad you're here and ready to take the next step! We created 48days.net as a place for community. For people to encourage each other and help each other in finding or creating work that is meaningful.
But frankly, we've outgrown it, so we're moving to provide you new resources.
48Days.net will be closing as it is today on November 30, 2017. Until then current members can click the button below to access groups and resources.
If you're new to 48days.net, connect here for a close up look at our thriving 48 Days Eagles Community and to get weekly free resources and motivation as you find and create work you love.
I have received a lot of great suggestions such as seeking the help of an Attorney or the VA Office but, I can assure you that all of my options have been exhausted and that is why I now seek the support of the people who care about and love the men and women who serve this great Country the most and that is the Citizens.
MYTH: The Government…Continue

I am truly a student of life and have oh so much to learn.
What are lives are and what are lives should be are two very different things, most of the time. We live in a world where everything we need…Continue

I'm sorry-- the first version of this post crossed over the line to being a blatant advertisement, which is not the nature of things on 48Days.Net, so I'm doing a major edit.
At any rate, I am as proud as can be of these guys since I've listened to their development over the last 3 years and accompanied them to the recording studio in Longwood Florida this January when "Winter" was recorded. Two young musicians, best friends, true collaborators, venturing out to let the world hear…Continue

I just erased my last blog post when I tried to write a new one! I'm not sure how I did that. I'm quite used to blogging using a different platform but this platform has me completely baffled! Hopefully I'll get used to it and do better quickly.
My last blog post wasn't that important really anyway. It was just me questioning why have a blog here. I did have a couple of responses to that post that I greatly appreciated but I'm still not entirely sure about it…Continue

College A Scam Question:
Asking if College was a scam, the writer of that question had some real concerns. She had attended 3 years but still had around 2 more years to go because of career uncertainties. Members of the particular forum were all over the map as to their opinions.
Overall, statistics prove that college degrees do improve earning power over a lifetime. Yet perhaps the question should be how…Continue

Great day ahead of me at a coaching seminar intensive with my speaking coach Kent Julian and the rest of our mastermind crew. This is exciting stuff as we’re gathered in one room to put help support each other and bring each of our visions to life.
Just a couple weeks ago, I was at Dan Miller’s Write to the Bank event in Tennessee. That was another positive and fulfilling step towards the development…Continue

I don't really use this blog space much. My primary blogs are found on my regular websites:
I'm going to try and use this spot to announce updates and new posts worth promoting.
Since my last post here, our farm blog has kind of popped. We are gaining subscribers and the hits are…Continue

Years ago when I was young and single. (Ah, the good old days....) I did not own a television set -- on purpose. I had intended to raise my children in a TV-less home, but alias that did not happen. I won a TV once in a drawing at the grocery store. I have a TV now, it's still packed in the box it came in as a 2010 Christmas gift. One of these days it will get mounted in the basement gym and I'll really use it for…Continue
Summer in these North Woods is so amazingly sweet-- perfect temperatures, clear waters, blue skies, everything green, and the warm peat-moss-brown waters at Big Falls are the toppings to the sundae. But we who live here will admit to you now (though we may deny it in August when Summer stands in her own right) that the intensity of the sweet Summer is only because of the length and intensity of the Winter.
The days are warming now-- up in the 50's and 60's by mid-afternoon…Continue

The internet is free. Well, as long as you take the cost of connecting to it and your computer out of the equation. For that matter, you can even go to the library. So essentially, the internet is free.
What you find on the internet is amazing. Entire college classes are online at no charge. Instructions to make wedding cakes, complete with video, and…Continue
I need to explain something to you very carefully. If I look back in time, and compare my way of life and standard of living to others around me, it was pretty close. Whether I intended that to happen or not, it’s what seemed to naturally unfold. Yes, I have been own person – or at least I’ve always thought I was – but then why do I have so many similar traits of those I hang around most?
It’s a social response, and conditioning. Depending on how self contained you…Continue
