Your place for community & resources to find or create work you love

We are so glad you're here and ready to take the next step! We created 48days.net as a place for community. For people to encourage each other and help each other in finding or creating work that is meaningful.

But frankly, we've outgrown it, so we're moving to provide you new resources.

48Days.net will be closing as it is today on November 30, 2017. Until then current members can click the button below to access groups and resources.

If you're new to 48days.net, connect here for a close up look at our thriving 48 Days Eagles Community and to get weekly free resources and motivation as you find and create work you love.

Profile Information

How did you hear about 48Days.NET, and what do you hope to get out of being a part of this community?
I don't remember how I first stumbled across this site, but the site caused me to subscribe to Dan Miller's podcast through Stitcher radio.
What is your current work situation? Employee, self-employed, generating any income on your own?
Retail store sales manager. I train and motivate a small sales team to exceed previous goals, providing daily accountability and direction. I also am personally involved in sales.
And then...what is your goal/dream for your work life?
Write, publish, encourage others along the path of successfully satisfying the desires of their heart in a way that enables them to enjoy life more fully.
How about your personal life? Any specific goals or achievements or dreams you are pursuing (or want to pursue)?
My goal is to develop the discipline to spend time with the people who are most important to me on a regular basis, so we can develop and enjoy the relationship we have. My goal is also to expand the network of people I am in contact with who are like-minded.
What would you say are your strongest talents? How are you 'wired' and what can you offer to the world (it's OK if you don't know yet, but knowing is key to pursuing your dreams!)?
As an introvert I am hard-wired to analyze almost every situation, constantly looking for a better way to get to the desired outcome. I write humor, poetry, lyrics, short fiction and non-fiction.

Having learned extrovert behaviors by working in sales and management, I can think on my feet, establish a connection and build rapport quickly, gain cooperation from team members, and give direction or leadership to a group that needs it.

I really want to learn more about my core competencies in order to develop them.
Do you have a website presence anywhere?

Are you interested in finding a better job, starting a business, growing your current business, writing a book, blogging, podcasting, coaching, speaking, sales & marketing, or something else?
I'm interested in finding a better way to earn a living than having a regular job! Sales has been great, but I'm interested in coaching (personal sales or christian coaching) blogging, writing, and super interested in sharing how keeping a journal was my gateway out of clinical depression.

Sandy, welcome to the Embracing Introvertedness group. I hope you find our group encouraging and helpful.

I see that you're in management. Do you find yourself leading mostly introverted or extroverted types? I've read several things that show introverts to be great leaders of extroverts (and vice versa). Just curious to hear your thoughts on that.

Welcome Sandy!  I found this site through Dave Ramsey and Dan's podcasts as well!!  Glad you've decided to join 48days.  It is a great network of supportive people, just the place to share your ideas and questions.  Hope you will jump in and participate.  Some groups I belong to are:  Write It Forward, Speak It Forward and a new group that I recently started, A Called Woman where we talk about finding our calling and moving ahead with passion.  It's highlighted as the group of the week!  Blessings!

Hi Sandy,

I try to take time each week to welcome new members to 48Days.Net. So, let me say "welcome" to you! I know you will find this to be a great site filled with people who are experiencing true success in both life and work.

I'd like to point out that one of the best places to connect with other liked-minded people here is in the GROUPS section. There are groups for just about every interest you can think of, and if you can't find a group that interests you, you can start one. Groups are my favorite part of 48Days.Net!

Finally, it sounds like you are interested in writing. If so, consider joining the Write It Forward. There are some great discussions going on that will likely be very profitable for you.

Plus, you might want to check out Speak It Forward as well. It's another group I'm involved with that has a lot of activity taking place.

Again, enjoy 48Days.Net. It's a great place to be!

Live it forward,
Kent Julian
