Your place for community & resources to find or create work you love
We are so glad you're here and ready to take the next step! We created 48days.net as a place for community. For people to encourage each other and help each other in finding or creating work that is meaningful.
But frankly, we've outgrown it, so we're moving to provide you new resources.
48Days.net will be closing as it is today on November 30, 2017. Until then current members can click the button below to access groups and resources.
If you're new to 48days.net, connect here for a close up look at our thriving 48 Days Eagles Community and to get weekly free resources and motivation as you find and create work you love.
Greetings - here's this morning’s Napoleon Hill thought -
Those who will not take a chance seldom have one thrust upon them.
If you’re new to the 48Days.net community – welcome. This is an amazing group of people who are not content with mediocrity in their work – or anywhere in their lives. They are willing to take a chance and thus are finding lots of new opportunities. You’ll find the members here share their resources and expertise willingly and also share your excitement when you succeed.
We are seeing an explosion of books being published, speakers being booked, coaches filling their schedules, artists finding new ways to market their work, musicians leveraging their talent and creative businesses from podcasting to dry cleaning pickup to muscle car restoration being launched successfully.
I’m thrilled as I see more people who are finding their true calling and applying that in work that is meaningful, purposeful – and profitable. If you’re still in that process, be encouraged; you can do what many others here have done
Each week we feature some of our favorite forum discussions, blogs, groups and members in the Notes on the front page. Please note that those who are featured and highlighted are always selected from those who have a clear picture, are active here in this community and are adding valuable content in some way. No magic or inside track – those are the things we look for.
This week we're highlighting:
Featured Discussion – Cars – Passion vs Distraction. Here’s an interesting discussion that highlights a common question: Can we trust our passions as God’s leading or are they our own “self-centered materialistic” desires. J Sean Allen posed the question about his attraction to old cars. Members jumped in with some great advice like this from David Roman – “If your passion has intrinsic value to others and isn't morally reprehensible, then why question it?” Add your thoughts to this important conversation.
Featured Blog – Keep Going We’re more than half-way through 2012 and many of us have been going strong pursuing amazing goals. With so much time left in the year, you might be in that middle-of-the-ocean place right now, where it seems the end-goal can’t get here fast enough and as a result, you might be losing a little momentum. I challenge you to keep going; it will be here before you know it and Brian Ives offers us some great reminders on how to keep going!
Featured Group – our featured group this week is the very active Speak it Forward group – led by the Simon Says champion of the world – Kent Julian. Whether you're just getting into speaking or a pro, this group is for you. It's not just about how to present, but how to be successful in the speaking business. Join us if your desire is to turn your passion to present into profit! And if you’re really serious about being paid as a speaker – this week you can get a big discount for Kent’s next Speak it Forward Boot Camp – October 25-27. Registration just opened – grab your seat for this even that has exploded the success of many others.
Featured Member – our featured member this week is Jeff David from Salt Lake City, UT. Jeff stands out as a consistent, passionate Food Blogger. He says – “I am a self-proclaimed Foodie. I sure love cooking and eating. I love to review restaurants and am looking to build a concept. My blog,www.hometownslop.blogspot.com is where I put up recipes & review. I would love to turn this into free-lance work for reviews, critiques, write books, start restaurants & products.” With Jeff’s passion – and consistent action – I expect to see this happen. Watch for updates.
If you want higher levels of success make sure your entering the discussions here. Be planning and taking action now to launch the biggest year you've ever known in 2013.
