Do you have any businesses and/or individuals that you just love to work with?
It could be a certain post office worker at your local branch. A specific cashier at the grocery store? How about a certain airline, online retailer, or bank?
For every one you love, there are probably many more you prefer not to deal with or have even fired along the way. But why? What makes some stand out over the others?
I recently finished reading Outstanding! 47 Ways To Make Your Organization Exceptional by John G. Miller. In it, he provides great insight into the things that make great organizations stand out.
I couldn’t help but notice that nearly all of those qualities are the same things that make us stand out as individuals. After all, we each are our own business.
