Everyone has a message, but not everyone
knows how to share it!
I never aspired to be a writer, but now that I am one, I can think of nothing I'd rather do. Maybe you are a lot like me. You don't have any connections in the publishing industry. You don't have a high-profile position with an established following. You haven't been called for radio interviews and you missed your chance to be featured in Oprah's Book Club.
Your message, however, is still buried deep inside and not a day goes by that you don't think about it. It's the message you share with acquaintances and some strangers. It's that message that causes your pulse to quicken and your words to run together. It's something deep inside that is unique to you...and we need you to tell us what it is.
You must share your messages with the world. What you have to say is art and art is never intended for an audience of one. There is someone out there who will be encouraged by your message.
She might be a lot like you. She might think she will never escape her mundane existence. He might be a young man who grew up without a father and wonders if he'll ever experience success. A poor kid with dreams but no support. A single mom who doesn't know what to do next. A 50-year-old who has discovered that his life lacks meaning and purpose. Someone who needs a smile. A hug. A dream. You.
Art requires an artist and an audience. The audience is waiting. They are looking for art. They are looking for you. Write now! Think about it.
What is keeping you from writing your message? What help do you need?
I am in the process of developing Write Now resources designed to help aspiring writers fulfill their dreams. From coaching to downloadable checklists, we are looking for ways to help you express yourself through blogs, eBooks, self-publishing, and storytelling. Keep up with what's happening at www.liveyourwhy.net.

Comment by Frances Butler on January 28, 2013 at 6:09pm Great post, Terry. This is where I find myself stuck. I love to tell stories and have so much to share with others. I mean, people just sometime want me to keep on talking and I seem to have so much in experience to share but I just don't know how or where to begin. I just feel stuck and it's most frustrating. I already have a website I named, "franktalk.com" with all the trimmings and even want to start a blog and or an online radio show. I want to do something for struggling single mums, abused and rejected women and children....so much but just STUCK!
