Your place for community & resources to find or create work you love

We are so glad you're here and ready to take the next step! We created 48days.net as a place for community. For people to encourage each other and help each other in finding or creating work that is meaningful.

But frankly, we've outgrown it, so we're moving to provide you new resources.

48Days.net will be closing as it is today on November 30, 2017. Until then current members can click the button below to access groups and resources.

If you're new to 48days.net, connect here for a close up look at our thriving 48 Days Eagles Community and to get weekly free resources and motivation as you find and create work you love.

WordPress is not just a blogging platform.  A wordpress website can be set up as a static site or have some static pages and a blog.   You can also use it as a membership site, a forum, a shopping catalog, etc…  Pretty much anything you can imagine for a website can be created with the wordpress blogging platform.

Why use WordPress instead of just building a site?  It’s easier to build.  It’s cheaper.  It’s easier to update.

WordPress has a plethora of plugins and add ons to help you create the website of your dreams.  You can easily change the overall look of your site just by using a different theme.   It’s that easy.

With a WordPress site, you don’t have to worry about creating a mobile website.  WordPress automatically recognizes if someone is on a mobile browser and displays your site accordingly.

My blogs are on wordpress and I would seriously consider switching over when my year is over where I am if it is as easy as everyone says!

Roxanne, thanks for the post, and I agree completely! My coaching web site (www.PurposefulPathway.com) is WordPress powered. I have found WordPress to be just as you wrote: it is affordable, user-friendly, easy to update, and it offers a wide range of plugins. Those are certainly part of the "why" of using Wordpress!

Leave a comment and tell us how you use your WordPress site if you have one or how you would use it if you had one.
