Your place for community & resources to find or create work you love
We are so glad you're here and ready to take the next step! We created 48days.net as a place for community. For people to encourage each other and help each other in finding or creating work that is meaningful.
But frankly, we've outgrown it, so we're moving to provide you new resources.
48Days.net will be closing as it is today on November 30, 2017. Until then current members can click the button below to access groups and resources.
If you're new to 48days.net, connect here for a close up look at our thriving 48 Days Eagles Community and to get weekly free resources and motivation as you find and create work you love.
A few days ago a young lady came into my office to inquire about a training program. I looked at her and said very matter-of-factly, "You are smarter than that." I begin to ask her questions like I always do, and she continued to tell me she didn't know what she wanted to do.
I wasn't buying it for one minute. I could see much more in her than she even imagined. I gently nudged her with more questions and she FINALLY started talking about what she already had been doing and LOVED TO DO. She was a hair stylist, and loved the industry, along with fashion.
What she wanted was a "steady" income. That is why she was willing to settle for a lesser job......for the sake of a steady paycheck. She was in the mid-20s', had her own car, was living off her savings, and didn't have any children.
We often take the lesser road when it comes to work we love. The answers aren't easy, but the rewards of never giving up are well worth it. I told her she needed to learn more about how to manage her money and diversify using the talents she is blessed with. I pointed her toward 48days.net and showed her the web site. She'll find like-minded people here who are developing businesses, gifts and talents and allowing themselves to grow. She can get some questions answered here. Continue to search I know you will find the answers too.
1. Are you backing away from what you LOVE because you can't see how to make it flourish?
2. What would you do if you knew you could not fail?
3. What are some of the questions you want answered about business?
Thanks for stopping by. Pull up a chair and come back later.
