Your place for community & resources to find or create work you love
We are so glad you're here and ready to take the next step! We created 48days.net as a place for community. For people to encourage each other and help each other in finding or creating work that is meaningful.
But frankly, we've outgrown it, so we're moving to provide you new resources.
48Days.net will be closing as it is today on November 30, 2017. Until then current members can click the button below to access groups and resources.
If you're new to 48days.net, connect here for a close up look at our thriving 48 Days Eagles Community and to get weekly free resources and motivation as you find and create work you love.
Each of us is on one path or another in our personal development. One is what we long for, but is the hardest climb. The other one is easier, but it stinks long-term.
Think about how you spend your time and your interactions with others each day. Each step is part of a cycle that leads you one way or another. Let’s look at that cycle.
It all starts with what you put in your head. Process good stuff. If you put junk in, you get junk out.
What you put in your head leads to what you think about. You will tend to move towards where you place your focus.
What you think about leads to how you act and what you’re involved in. Ever known an addict?
How you act and what you’re involved in impacts how others see you. People are judging you at first glance. Accurate or not, it’s a fact.
How others see you leads to who likes you. After all, it’s not what you know, it’s who you know and what they get from the interaction with you.
Who likes you impacts opportunities you may or may not get. Ever second-guessed something you said or did and what it might have impacted?
Every day, you make decisions on which trail you are following. The trail to the top of the mountain is the one that gives you fulfillment, peace and allows you to help others. The trail to the dump will make you feel less worthy. Nothing will ever seem to go your way on that trail long-term. It stinks!
If you’re like me, you aren’t on a straight path to the mountain top. There are bumps and side trails that don’t always lead to the top. Just make sure you always veer back onto that path that leads to success and happiness.
