Your place for community & resources to find or create work you love

We are so glad you're here and ready to take the next step! We created 48days.net as a place for community. For people to encourage each other and help each other in finding or creating work that is meaningful.

But frankly, we've outgrown it, so we're moving to provide you new resources.

48Days.net will be closing as it is today on November 30, 2017. Until then current members can click the button below to access groups and resources.

If you're new to 48days.net, connect here for a close up look at our thriving 48 Days Eagles Community and to get weekly free resources and motivation as you find and create work you love.

Here is what I have been reading this summer.  Please share what good books you have read recently.

So what are your reading this summer?

I'm working on "The Referral Engine" by John Jantsch, since I'm only a few weeks away from opening my new business.

I've read through several business books this summer, but Gary Vaynerchuk's "The Thank You Economy" and Chris Guillebeau's "$100 Start Up" have been the most inspiring and exciting.

Thanks Peter, I am working through Platform right now and finding it to be a great book. I can see it being a resource book I use for years to come.

I will have to check out "What if Thinking"

Appreciate your comments.

Just finished Platform by Michael Hyatt. It is fast becoming a workbook I'll need to review often.

Working on Multipliers - "How the best leaders make everyone smarter" by Liz Wiseman. Great book, demonstrates how people like Dan are not afraid to amplify the talents of those around them.

Multipliers get 120% more out of people because they stretch them outside of their comfort zone to an additional 20% they didn't know existed.

Non Multipliers - Detractors - only get about 30-50% of productivity out of those they manage.

Good stuff.

On my bookshelf next: "What if Thinking" by Terry Hadaway and "Play - how it shapes the brain, opens the imagination, and invigorates the soul" by Stuart Brown MD
