Toto - Not the Wizard of Oz

You thought this was going to be some observation about the dog Toto and The Wizard of Oz. Nope - it's much better! I find inspiration in all areas of life, but music is one of the greatest. In all honesty, all kinds of music brings me inspiration. Back in the 80's (telling my age now) there was a band called Toto. They had a great song that has an incredible first verse. Though the song is intended to be a love song, it speaks clearly about pursing our dreams, passions and destiny.

Some people live their dreams
Some people close their eyes
Some people's destiny Passes by

There are no guarantees
There are no alibis

Are you living your dream? Are your eyes wide open to the life and opportunities that surround you? Are you letting your destiny passing you by? Are you waiting for some 'guarantee' that you won't experience a failure? Are you making up alibis (excuses) as to why you don't take the first step towards greatness today?
