Thank God for Christian Networking!

I have been laid-off from the construction management industry twice in the last 8 months. Through my friends at NCBN and 48days (thanks Marilyn M.), I was encouraged to look into a freelance writing web site. I did so, and within one week I was earning money from my home office by writing web page content.

At the same time, a message on 48days.net provided a contact that has been giving me construction consulting work for the last two months.

The freelance writing may become a full-time job that can pay the bills without me leaving the house!

I write all of this to say thank God for Christian networking and the opportunities we have to help one another in a powerful way.

It was recommended to me by another member of this group, Marilyn Magallanes of Teach Them to Care. The sign-up and testing process is lengthy, but membership is free. They get paid 10% of what writers make. The projects start out fairly low-paying, but great performance leads to better projects. Best of luck to you.

Great information and glad to hear you may be able to stay home with the writing. Like Randy asked, which site? I have been considering writing myself but not sure which sites are really good.

There are so many scams on the net that I am always leery of getting involved, but I have been considering one particular writers' site for some time. I agree with you on the Christian networking concept. This site, 48Days.net, is one of the best ideas to come down the pike in my opinion.
