Reasons for Mobile App Crash and How to Avoid it

Application crash is definitely one of the most disturbing issues that smartphone users across the world are facing now. Even though most of the reputed mobile application development companies claim that their apps do not crash anymore, it still happens. Who is responsible for mobile app crash; is it the developer or the device? Learn about the reasons of app crash and how you can avoid such factors.

High Demand and Poor Internet Service

Imbalance in demand and supply can lead to such a malfunction. If the application has not been designed to handle heavy traffic, it will succumb. It is important to introduce better code while developing the application.

Apart from this, poor Internet connectivity is another reason that can crash a running app. A sudden drop in the speed or poor connectivity can invite such a situation. In addition, switching from mobile Internet to Wi-Fi facility while an app is in progress can cause a crash.

A Bad Front-end or a Bug in the Code

Developers in a mobile app development company in Mumbai or anywhere else often leave bugs, while implementing custom features that can later become the sole reason for an app’s crash. Thus, it is important for developers to test their newly developed app thoroughly.

A poorly optimized front-end can also be the reason for app crash and this happens when developers fail to provide the best treatments to the front-end of the application.

Bad Integration and Browser Incompatibility

A badly integrated back-end can be responsible for an application’s crash. The situation comes in when the back-end fails to recognize the requests delivered by the front-end. Browser incompatibility is another possible reason for an app’s crash and that is why developers should test their product across multiple browsers.

Abundance of Mobile App and Device Incompatibility

Too many mobile apps in a device can slow down its overall functionality and invite the crash of apps. In addition, if the device comes with cheap hardware, such as RAM and processor, then the users can frequently witness crash on the device.

Low-budget mobile handsets are more prone to experience app crash than highly configured ones. Since Android develops an operating system for a wide range of products, developers often find it difficult to create an app for all devices under the Android umbrella.

Test Your App in Different Android Devices

Before you release your application on Google PlayStore, you should test it on multiple Android devices, so that you can check its device compatibility. You cannot ignore the device incompatibility factor because you will never know what kind of devices your target audience will use to install your app. In addition, you can also ask your family and friends to use the app and give feedback.

Though mobile app crash has become a common incident for the smartphone users, it can be avoided with right measures. Thus, take care of above-mentioned issues and develop a user-friendly mobile application.
