Newbie, with a new business

Thanks to Dan's plan and insights and Chuck Bowen's coaching I have open a new business. When I tell people I have started a new business I sometimes get the strangest looks and comments. Mostly they ask why would I want to start a business during an economic downturn? My answer is simple, why not! My decision to open a business wasn't based on a whim or a fluke, it took time, research, reflection and a willingness to look a myself, and learn who I am. Surprisingly once I did that the rest was easy (he says with tongue in cheek). Sun Tzu wrote: If you know the enemy and know yourself, your victory will not stand in doubt; if you know Heaven and know Earth, you may make your victory complete. , the important part is to know yourself, know what you're good at, what makes you happy etc. (The Art of War is an excellent book by the way).

It has been a long hard road to get to this point, a point where I feel happy, confident and confident about the future. The road ahead will have its potholes, its ups and downs, but I will weather those and be sucessful
