One way I try to de-stress after work is to get in some mild exercise – my favorite of which is walking outside. I live on a dead end road which makes for a nice point-to-point, traffic free walk, and sometimes I’ll repeat this a few times to get a substantial distance in. Normally I’ll try to do this right away so that I don’t get busy and neglect my workout later on, but these past few days have been so crazed and elongated that I haven’t had a chance to get any exercise in. Eventually though, your body will crave movement and I found the motivation to get outside just as the sun was starting to set.
