We are so glad you're here and ready to take the next step! We created 48days.net as a place for community. For people to encourage each other and help each other in finding or creating work that is meaningful.
But frankly, we've outgrown it, so we're moving to provide you new resources.
48Days.net will be closing as it is today on November 30, 2017. Until then current members can click the button below to access groups and resources.
If you're new to 48days.net, connect here for a close up look at our thriving 48 Days Eagles Community and to get weekly free resources and motivation as you find and create work you love.

The Lone Ranger and Tonto are camping in the desert, set up their tent, and are asleep. Some hours later, The Lone Ranger wakes his faithful friend.
"Tonto, look up and tell me what you see."
Tonto replies, "Me see millions of stars."
"What does that tell you?" asks The Lone Ranger.
Tonto ponders for a minute.
"Astronomically speaking, it tells me that there are millions of galaxies and potentially billions of planets.
Astrologically, it tells me that Saturn is in Leo.
Time wise, it appears to be approximately a quarter past three.
Theologically, it's evident the Lord is all powerful and we are small and insignificant.
Meteorologically, it seems we will have a beautiful day tomorrow.
What it tell you, Kemo Sabi?"
The Lone Ranger is silent for a moment, then speaks.
"Tonto, you Dumb Hoss, someone has stolen our tent."
One of my personal goals is to run my own business. This used to be something that was one of those "someday" type of things. But as time has progressed it has reached a peak which I can no longer push aside. I notifed my current employer about 3 months ago that I would not be returning after August (as my contract ends at this time). I am choosing instead to move full time into writing, blogging, training in martial arts, and finding a way to generate income combining all of this.
That being said, I`m not quite sure how I am going to make this happen. It is pretty obvious that I need to gain some insights into moving towards entrepenurialism. This is where I come back to the "BOOM!" moment.
2 months ago I was walking and thinking to myself: "It would be great, if I could meet someone who had experience running their own business, had years and years of experience, that understood me," I began to think "Where can I find someone like this?" and then it all struck me like I ate too much wasabe with my sushi...
I know the perfect entrepreneur. He has run his own business for close to 40 years. He`s full of energy, optimism, and excitement! This dude is such an entrepreneur that his idea of "retirement" consists of growing olive trees in the country, making olive oil, and selling it. His current business ventures range from changing the local schools physical education system to helping the local Indian reservation develop a product line...
It`s my father... And here I was looking for a mentor and it was as obvious as the white on rice.
I now look back upon it and it seems so obvious to me. Especially after sitting down with my father and having him coach me through this process. Yet, for a long time it never even occurred to me. I think there are many times in our lives when what we are looking for is right in front of us.
We often make life much harder as we search up, down, around, behind, and underneath... but we forget to look right infront.
Are there any changes you want to make in your life? Are you searching for the answer? How are you searching for the answer? Are there things that are in your life everyday that might just be the answer?
