We CAN take control of our attitude in order to become financially successful.
I love the book and movie Gone With the Wind. While Clark Gable was great, Vivian Leigh owned the stage with her sassy spoiled attitude. While it is endearing on Vivian Leigh, it was wasn't so cute on me as I fell into the Scarlett O'Hara "poor me" attitude before our freedom finance journey started.
Financial fear, worry, and stress made playing Scarlett feel like the only option for me at the time.
The bad thing about the Scarlett syndrome is that it paralyzed me to block my ability to find solutions. Instead, it intensified my desire to only zero in the immediate problem at hand which prevented me from seeing the big picture.
So what did I do when Scarlett wanted to take up residence with my attitude?
First, I realized I had a choice in controlling what my attitude was at all times. I also came to realize that there are two types of people and we can choose to be either one.
