I admire people who have inner strength to endure situations that most of us can't imagine. A person that comes to mind that is the ultimate champion of inner strength is Jaycee Dugard. Jaycee was kidnapped against her will at age 11 and endured 18 years of unfathomable abuse. She now gives hope and inspiration to countless people by sharing her story.
How do mentors and heroes like Jaycee who have been through horrific experiences gain inner strength?
Like the muscles on the outside of our bodies, inner strength is something that we can all tap into. Inner strength is gained by taking incremental action steps to persevere and endure through the mucky times we all go through in our lives.
How can this be done?
Guidance on helping to build your inner strength can be found by intentionally taking action to reach out in faith to seek out people and resources. For everyone, these people and resources will differ. For me personally, I have developed my inner strength muscles through prayer and seeking out people who have been through similar situations that are now living extraordinary.
My wish is for you to experience the empowerment that inner strength has to offer in making your life extraordinary.
Question: What action steps have helped you build your own inner strength?
Live Beyond Awesome.
