Since I blog a lot about books. I want to share with you the way in which I access books really cheap and build my own personal library. It has been said readers are leaders. So reading good material is great for anyone wanting more out of life. First of all visiting your local Salvation Army or Goodwill. This is a cheap way to acquire books. Most books sell for less than $3 so buying five is the same cost of buying one. You might be surprised the books you can pickup. Recently, I went to goodwill and here is what I brought back for less than twenty bucks.
Linchpin by Seth Godin
Quiet Strength by Tony Dungy
Two Hearts Praying as One by Dennis and Barbara Rainey
Gump & Co. by Winston Groom
Who Moved My Blackberry by Lucy Kellaway
Bold fresh Piece of Humanity by Bill O'Reilly
There is one downside to buying books at Goodwill and that is it can take up time. Driving to Goodwill, searching, and driving back home can eat up time ffor a busy person.
If you have a blog and want to take it a step further you can send letters to publishers requesting a specific book in exchange for a book review on your blog. You will find that publishers will be more than happy to do this if the book fits well into your specific blog area. It's also a great way to build your own blog.
There are two large publishing companies that allow readers to instantly get access to books through an ereader or by mail. Go to www.booksneeze.com and www.bloggingforbooks.com to get access. Read the book in it's entirety post a review on your blog, and another commercial website such as Amazon and repeat.
Anyways, I hope that you can use these tips.
