There is a ground swell crying for reform in education. With movies like “Waiting for Superman,” and “The Race to Nowhere,” the dialog concerning the plight of our public schools is picking up daily.
New developments neuroscience and understanding how the human brain is wired for learning opens new worlds to how we approach education.
Experts like Sir Ken Robinson and Seth Godin are casting vision for how things can be better.
What great times we live in!
But of course, the Status Qou doesn’t want to hear that. And they will seek to discredit anything that opposes their agenda. But I’m not talking to them. I’m talking to you…parents who intuit that there’s GOT TO BE A BETTER WAY.
There is.
Education begins in the home when you first bring that little bundle into the world. What path you choose to take when they reach “school age” is entirely up to you.
If you’re concerned that the only option is that brick institution on the corner that conflicts with your values and goals I want to encourage you that there are options. If you’re at a cross roads of where to go from here…tomorrow I’m going to address the different options. A few may even surprise you.
