Your place for community & resources to find or create work you love
We are so glad you're here and ready to take the next step! We created 48days.net as a place for community. For people to encourage each other and help each other in finding or creating work that is meaningful.
But frankly, we've outgrown it, so we're moving to provide you new resources.
48Days.net will be closing as it is today on November 30, 2017. Until then current members can click the button below to access groups and resources.
If you're new to 48days.net, connect here for a close up look at our thriving 48 Days Eagles Community and to get weekly free resources and motivation as you find and create work you love.

Nothing is more frustrating than having your dreams derailed. There are four main reasons a dream does not come to pass – discouragement, delay, disappointment and distraction. The key to overcoming each of these is taking action “right away” to not let them take hold in your life.
We previously discussed Discouragement and Delay and how to combat them.
Disappointment is feeling sad or frustrated because something didn’t turn out quite as good as you had hoped, or it did not happen at all. Have you ever taken the time to plan a great party and you invited 30 friends and only three showed up? The feeling you feel is disappointment. Allowing disappointment to take hold in your emotions can be crippling. This is especially true if you have experienced several disappointments in a row. The way you overcome disappointment is to find the positive that happened even though it appeared negative at first. In the above scenario it would be good to realize how great and wonderful it was to connect with those three friends on a more intimate basis - spiritually and emotionally. Realize that would have never happened if all 30 people showed up.
How do you handle disappointment?
