Your place for community & resources to find or create work you love

We are so glad you're here and ready to take the next step! We created 48days.net as a place for community. For people to encourage each other and help each other in finding or creating work that is meaningful.

But frankly, we've outgrown it, so we're moving to provide you new resources.

48Days.net will be closing as it is today on November 30, 2017. Until then current members can click the button below to access groups and resources.

If you're new to 48days.net, connect here for a close up look at our thriving 48 Days Eagles Community and to get weekly free resources and motivation as you find and create work you love.

“I want to know my life counts.” Nancy, Marcy, and I all nodded. Our children are grown. We have breathing room in our schedules and wonder what we should be doing. We’ve discovered that “What should I do with my life?” is no longer a question just for young people. We wanted an assignment that would add purpose in life not busyness.

When posed with a similar question Jesus said, “This is the work of God, that you believe in Him whom He has sent,” (John 6:29, NASB). Believing is my work. Believing in Jesus for salvation is only the beginning. I must also trust in Him to fulfill His purpose through me.

Awesome post Deborah - I especially love what you said about looking for an assignment that adds purpose to your life and not simply busy-ness.  The titles you shared are powerful and definitely those that go along with divine assignment.

Bernice, thanks for sharing. You're right. Maybe they also still believe in taking time to dream.

Deborah, you are so right, "What should I do with my life?", is not just a question for young people. Actually, it is often easier for some of them to figure it out. They haven't been tainted by the naysayers, and are drawn to their purpose and live it out to the fullest. Continue the quest to become a purpose-filled woman.
