Your success and happiness lies in you. Resolve to keep happy, and your joy and you shall form an invincible host against difficulties. ~ Helen Keller
Some people mistake positivity for being naive...I want to say to those that believe this...joy is found within and is available EVERYONE.
Intentionally living with joy in your life is a choice, it is not obtained through lucky living. Nativity is from thinking that blaming outside factors is the solution.
If you are looking for joy in your life, my wish is for you to take intentional ACTION to find it.
Got Joy? If not, do you want it? If so get off your butt and MOVE it to get it.~ Jen McDonough
Remember, finding joy is POSSIBLE for all of us no matter what our situation is.
Question: What are your ways of finding joy?
Live Beyond Awesome.

Oh Karen, how fun! I LIKE that saying "joy is the ultimate state of living" - that just makes me smile. What a wonderful way you find joy Karen - helping others "unwrap" their passion - very cool!
oh thanks Ann! What a great description on the difference between joy and happiness! Love it!!!
Comment by Karen Putz on October 2, 2012 at 7:23am I love that photo-- I have a Westie! To me, joy is the ultimate state of living-- when you're living in joy, you're living the essence of who you are. I find joy in helping others unwrap their passions, making a difference in someone's life, and of course, walking on water!
Comment by Ann Musico on October 1, 2012 at 9:56am Definitely, Jen. Joy is an inside thing! People mistake "happiness" for joy - but happiness is mostly from outward circumstances that go your way. I've learned you can have joy even when nothing outwardly is going right or is making you happy! Joy is like spiritual weightlifting! The joy of the Lord is our strength!
