For about 3 months I was diligent about Dan's smoothie. It was wonderful but since my personality is one of getting bored and changing things, I slowly altered it to the point where it hardly resembles the original creation.
Thank you Dan! I never would have started on breakfast smoothies if not for you. They are so much better than sugar cereal or toast. They are loaded with fruits, veggies and other fuel. I have more energy in the morning than I ever have before.
One funny story about breakfast. While living in the Philippines as a service missionary, my companion in the town of Irosin would walk down to the bakery every morning for breakfast. He would get a very sugary, doughy sweet roll and a liter of coca-cola. I tried it once. By 10:30am I remember being so weak and shaking that I had to sit down on the dirt path next to a rice field. I have come a long way since then.

Has anyone tried Farnoosh's juicing seminar? I'm curious what the feedback is.
Comment by Ann Musico on January 11, 2013 at 9:58am That was definitely a funny story and how true - a sugary empty calorie meal like that does leave us weak! Your smoothie looks great - I have a smoothie for breakfast as well and change day to day - but starting the day like that is one of the best ways I know to stay healthy! What's in yours?
