Like you, I’ve had a couple computer crashes in my lifetime. And whether it’s virus related, not enough capacity or just plain outdated, the inevitable happens. The thought of going through the painful task of restoring my computer just doesn’t appeal to me. Kinda like going to the dentist, it’s no fun at all .
You know what I mean, losing those important documents, pictures and files. I thought keeping hard copies would be a solution. And yes I was able to recreate some documents and find others on my thumbdrive and laptop.
My point is not only was this a painful process but I lost so much time and productivity, I knew I had to find another solution. Just the thought of having to search for the original software, restore the hard drive and then of course all those updates, yikes! Again it was just too much.
So for me it’s become very important to back up my computer. I run most of my business processes online and since I’m in the productivity industry, I always recommend my clients do the same where ever possible.
So instead of putting it off like I’ve done in the past, I’m being proactive by getting my desktop pc upgraded by my tech consultant. I’ve also found a great solution here!
