Your place for community & resources to find or create work you love

We are so glad you're here and ready to take the next step! We created 48days.net as a place for community. For people to encourage each other and help each other in finding or creating work that is meaningful.

But frankly, we've outgrown it, so we're moving to provide you new resources.

48Days.net will be closing as it is today on November 30, 2017. Until then current members can click the button below to access groups and resources.

If you're new to 48days.net, connect here for a close up look at our thriving 48 Days Eagles Community and to get weekly free resources and motivation as you find and create work you love.

Is that even possible? I am not talking about just going to church. You can go to church every day and still lack to have a spiritually connected marriage. I am talking about having the same core spiritual convictions and building a Christ-centered marriage.

It is not a surprise that religion discord is one of the four top reasons for divorce in America. Spiritual connection is essential to build a lasting marriage. For me, this is a work in progress. The more I build spiritual connection in my marriage the more growth I experience.

Here are 3 of my favorite ways to continue building spiritual connection with my spouse. Click here to continue.

Thank you so much Chris. 35+ Great job. You deserve applause. 35+ and a great marriage. Rare, but possible.

Few tips that helped me - We prayed together before we go to sleep, started that  practice during pre-marital counseling.

Reading the Bible together can be a challenge, but we do one Proverb a day - 31 days of Proverbs. Pick your month and discuss it.  I usually read in the morning because once my son is awake. Reading time is over.

For reading together - We pick a marriage book and we do 1 Chapter a week. We are reading Gary Thomas - Sacred Marriage right now. I am not even joking when I say  this is my third time reading this book and I get  so convicted. I read it two years ago. Now, I have a son. New perspectives. It is like my  Dale Carnergie/Stephen Covey but for marriage and full of spiritual challenges. Not the same principles but life changing after you complete the book.

Marie,  3 great tips and I'm almost ashamed to admit I've practiced none of them regularly. We have a great marriage of 35+ years but I'm always learning. Thanks for sharing and I'll begin the practice you suggest daily.
