You are the only person who is liable for your staff actions, as their actions depend upon your commands. So in this situation, you should relax, and have some trust in your abilities. 1. Find a mentor
Mentors are the biggest resource for your hotel business, especially those who are experienced in the industry of hospitality. Mentor will guide you to run your business in the most effective way to earn more and more profit each year. So, if you don’t have any mentor you can easily hire someone, who has great experience in this field.
2. Be selective in your hiring
A hotel manager is only responsible for managing his team. He is not there for hiring the cook or other hotel staff. For hiring procedure, you should have human resource teams that are liable to hire all the experienced and educated staff for various positions in your hotel.
If you hire a wrong person for the job, then it will only cause huge frustration for you. Obviously, the job becomes tougher if we have to clean it up all by ourselves all the messes created by wrong employees.
3. Focus on leadership, not management

6. Keep learning
The most important thing which you should always do is to keep learning. These days’ people think their learning procedure is over when they pass out of college. But that’s really wrong attitude, I believe while working in an organization or experiencing some job situations you learn lots of new things. So you can’t just stop learning, you learn on every single step of your life. So you should always prefer to apply the things in your business, things which you learn.
