Your place for community & resources to find or create work you love

We are so glad you're here and ready to take the next step! We created 48days.net as a place for community. For people to encourage each other and help each other in finding or creating work that is meaningful.

But frankly, we've outgrown it, so we're moving to provide you new resources.

48Days.net will be closing as it is today on November 30, 2017. Until then current members can click the button below to access groups and resources.

If you're new to 48days.net, connect here for a close up look at our thriving 48 Days Eagles Community and to get weekly free resources and motivation as you find and create work you love.

099 Real Life Questions – How do I get people involved in my blog?

Lisa from Virginia jons us for today’s show and ask two great questions:

  1. How can I encourage people to sign up for my blog?
  2. I want to take the Bible studies I’ve written and turn them into a series of tele-classes. Where and how do I start?

Hi Joel

Thanks for posting this audio.  It was very helpful as I had been recently contemplating these questions myself regarding my passion for writing and natural health.  I enjoy the blogging but would like to reach a wider audience and have been contemplating doing an outside blog and eventually adding teleclasses and podcasts having to do with natural health.   I had started one before but kind of lost interest in it and had trouble keeping it consistent.  For now, Sunday afternoon seems to be my best day with the fewest interruptions to write although I also tend to write a little bit over many days before I publish finish a blog.  Being a wife, mommy, teacher and doctor and trying to fit in writing can be a challenge at times.  Also thinking of doing as Jon Acuff did (author of Quitter) and maybe compiling some of the blog entries (along with some unpublished stuff) into a book.  That I am kind of working on now and have set a goal for doing this within a years time.  Anyway, this has given me a lot to think about.
