I had a dream the other night. I was walking down a dirt road when I saw a young boy asking his dad a question. I don’t recall what the boy said, but I remember the father, with serious but loving eyes answered: “Own your gifts”.
I woke up at that moment and my first thought was “I wish my father directed me differently when I was growing up...” Almost Immediately I realized how much a “victim” I still try…Continue

First of all, allow me to draw an analogy. As a root canal specialist, I hear this question from general dentists occasionally - “Have you tried this NEW tool that promise to cut down procedure time and increase success rate”?
Here is the hard truth - I spent 3 years in post-dental school training to learn how to do root canals. After 10 years of practice, I know the KEY to success most of the time is not…Continue
As a category 5 tornado ripped through the tiny town of Henryville, Indiana, lifting her home off its foundation and smashing it to the ground, she used her body as a shield to protect her two young children from flying debris, falling beams, and a disintegrating house. Even after her legs were crushed from a structural collapse, her motherly instincts did not fail her - directing her kids on what to do next.…Continue

Joel and I had such a good time last weekend at Podcast Movement conference in Dallas. Besides learning, speaking on a panel, we got to meet so many people face to face.
It started with the keynote from Chris Brogan. As most of you know, well, let me just copy part of his bio “Chris has spoken for or consulted with the biggest brands you know, including Disney, Coke, Google, GM, Microsoft, … Humana…Continue

Dr. Ganz Ferrance, a psychologist and international speaker, did not have the best upbringing. For the longest time, he thought he was not very bright. And, that nagging doubt did not stop, even after he earned all the degrees.
Dr. Ganz later learned to "Accept your little successes - they are evidence you have produced something really good here. And you need accept that. Because when you do, you then are…Continue
One of our show experts, business coach Tina Dietz mentioned a common mistake starting entrepreneurs make - Waiting too long to launch; thinking that collecting information and becoming an expert will create a “perfect” time to start. Instead - "being willing to suck until you suck less".
We are so fortunate.
Joel and I get to talk to an expert and pick their brain every weekday on "Raise Your Game Radio" - explosive business growth for authors, coaches and speakers.
Within a couple of short weeks, the tips from these experts are already changing how we do business.
In this week's "Success Summary" - we want to share another common trait of the super-achievers.
They consider relationship the key to success. Here are the…Continue
We all have dreams and visions. More so for our friends at 48days. However, somedays or moments we can't help but feel anxious and ask "Can I really do this?", especially when we receive a revelation to go after a big goal.
This week, I want to challenge everybody (myself included), change the question to "can WE really do this?"
I heard this quote: "my job is to take care of the possible and trust God with the impossible". The mission we have in our hearts did not originate…Continue
This has been a journey - Joel and I learned so much - what to do and what not to. One thing we know for certain - when you ready to play big, never do it alone. Amazing how many people offering support! In the journey of changing lives, don't worry about not knowing enough - that's why God made other people! Filled with gratitude.…Continue

I love my life, but a few things happened the last few days really bombed me out: Joel and I had an awesome time dining with Rabbi Lapin and a few of his friends. But on the way back Joel had a accident. After a lightning storm we discovered a few electronic items quit working - a couple chargers, garage door motors and an AC fan. Then today, we realized one of our podcast recording equipments was damaged. It was on a surge protector but the lightning hit through the phone line.
Kids/ grandkids birthdays or Christmas - why not buy the domain of their names!
I was listening to "Finding your voice" podcast. Famous author and speaker Larry Winget's shared "always contrary" opinion on life, success, parenting... At the end, he encouraged listeners to take 3 sheets of paper: 1st - write down where we are; 2nd - write…Continue
