They come around once a year. In my family there…

How to Make $1000 Before Christmas

According to Gallup, the average American will spend $830 on gifts and other Christmas-related supplies. People who use credit cards to fund their…

13 Meaningful Gifts for All Ages

  1. Photo Puzzle

The 48-piece version by Portrait Puzzles is a meaningful gift for a first birthday (even though he/she won’t be able to use it until he/she is two). I like the one from Portrait Puzzles, because you can upgrade for a keepsake tin box and because they offer the hard-to-find large puzzle with…

Give Creatively

Recently I had a discussion with my granddaughter, Clara, about why we give at Christmas.  I told her of the wise men bringing gifts to the Christ child and told her how, during the Christmas holiday, we have the opportunity to give back to people we love and are important to us.  It is also a time to give to others who might be less fortunate.  It is a time of intentional giving.

I’ve been thinking about what Clara and I talked about.  Not always were Dan and…

Merry Christmas!

Hello All!

I just wanted to take a moment to wish you all a very Merry Christmas! We all know the true reason for the season. And I am sure this community knows better than to be blinded by the things of the world, and now to keep the first things first. So, I will not bother going into all that, and just go straight to Wishing You the most Joyous of Seasons and a Bright New Year!

Merry Christmas!
