Your place for community & resources to find or create work you love

We are so glad you're here and ready to take the next step! We created 48days.net as a place for community. For people to encourage each other and help each other in finding or creating work that is meaningful.

But frankly, we've outgrown it, so we're moving to provide you new resources.

48Days.net will be closing as it is today on November 30, 2017. Until then current members can click the button below to access groups and resources.

If you're new to 48days.net, connect here for a close up look at our thriving 48 Days Eagles Community and to get weekly free resources and motivation as you find and create work you love.

Are You Depressed?

This week, the death of Robin Williams struck a nerve in a lot of people. There was shock from some, others who said it shouldn’t have been a shock, and people calling for us to be aware of others around us who might be depressed. It was a cry from all religions…

Changing Your Conjunction

No one can serve two masters. Either you will hate the one and love the other, or you will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money.

Matthew 6:24

"Conjunction Junction, what's your function?"  Many of you remember this little song from Schoolhouse Rock.  This isn't a post about grammar, but this particular part of speech can make a huge difference in our lives.  And the Matthew 6:24…

It Must Be the End of the Year......

........because I'm back to 48days.net. Every year around this time Dan starts talking about goals in his podcasts. There is was again...that sneaking little message, "searching for signal" that my cable company employs whenever the weather or another circumstance interrupts programming.

Sometimes I can completely understand how something disrupts "regularly scheduled programming." I usually am annoyed and sometimes completely frustrated but I must admit that sometimes what is searching for a

signal is ...ME!…

Oh My God

I recently came across some Peter Rodger's information about a movie he directed entitled Oh My God. Peter's father is a photojournalist and Peter had the opportunity to travel to 23 countries

to ask, "what does God mean to you?" He states the movie is not about

religion but about people's perception of God.

Watch the trailer and see the panel discussion here.…

Christianity a la carte

The only thing more fun than people watching while eating a dog and Coke at Costco ($1.60!) is eavesdropping while you’re eating a dog and Coke at Costco. (Did I mention it’s only $1.60?)

Yesterday conversation was amusing. It was between a few women and lanky fellow with thick glasses and an overbite. The topic: Church. A topic near and dear to my heard.
