Your place for community & resources to find or create work you love

We are so glad you're here and ready to take the next step! We created 48days.net as a place for community. For people to encourage each other and help each other in finding or creating work that is meaningful.

But frankly, we've outgrown it, so we're moving to provide you new resources.

48Days.net will be closing as it is today on November 30, 2017. Until then current members can click the button below to access groups and resources.

If you're new to 48days.net, connect here for a close up look at our thriving 48 Days Eagles Community and to get weekly free resources and motivation as you find and create work you love.

Profile Information

How did you hear about 48Days.NET, and what do you hope to get out of being a part of this community?
I read the book 48 Days to the Work You Love, I'm an affiliate partner, and I hope to be able to help others in the same way that the book helped me.
What is your current work situation? Employee, self-employed, generating any income on your own?
I am currently employed as a college adviser; however, I am working on my own business developing team resources for leaders.
And then...what is your goal/dream for your work life?
My goal is to have an online business that generates enough income to support my family, so that I can spend more time in ministry, as well as traveling with my family.
How about your personal life? Any specific goals or achievements or dreams you are pursuing (or want to pursue)?
I was in full-time ministry for a number of years, but felt God calling me out of that to be more involved in the community. My personal goals are to develop a blog that is my ministry and encourages but also challenges Christians to live a deeper, richer life in Christ.

I also want to have a lifestyle that allows me to take my kids to school and pick them up, as well as spend more time in the summers with them (while they want me to).
What would you say are your strongest talents? How are you 'wired' and what can you offer to the world (it's OK if you don't know yet, but knowing is key to pursuing your dreams!)?
My strongest talents are creativity, writing, connecting with people of various backgrounds and ages. I also have the gift of leading worship and teaching.
Do you have a website presence anywhere?
If you have a product or service to promote (now or in the near future) this is your shot to state it! Say all you'd like:
I offer customized team building experiences, as well as leadership coaching, for young teams and leaders who want to increase their leadership and team's effectiveness, purpose, and influence.
Feel free to share your Twitter name, Facebook page, and any other social media way to connect with you!

Three Secrets of Super-Fun Teams

Posted on September 9, 2016 at 9:30am 2 Comments

Have you ever wondered what makes some teams great and some, well, duds? So have I. I've been on teams that work really well together and are downright a blast to be a part of. I've been on others where I couldn't wait to go home at the end of the day. For many people, it may be a mixture of teams being both fun and frustrating.

In working…

Bust Up the Routine with These 8 Micro-Adventures

Posted on February 2, 2016 at 8:30am 8 Comments

Most of the time, we tend to fall into our routines and stay there. If you're like me, though, routine tends to get boring rather quickly. I try to find ways to get out of my normal schedule and make my life and work more interesting. I want to be intentional about my life and, instead of letting it just happen, strive to have fun and…

The 4 Phase Process of Building Leaders Who Build Leaders

Posted on January 29, 2016 at 2:00pm 2 Comments

I’ve said it before, and I will say it again, “The best investment you will ever make as a leader is in developing other people.”  Hands down this is both the most challenging task and the most rewarding as a leader.  Anyone can delegate tasks.  Very few leaders will…

Hi Will,

I try to take time each week to welcome new members to 48Days.Net. So, let me say "welcome" to you! I know you will find this to be a great site filled with people who are experiencing true success in both life and work.

I'd like to point out that one of the best places to connect with other liked-minded people here is in the GROUPS section. There are groups for just about every interest you can think of, and if you can't find a group that interests you, you can start one. Groups are my favorite part of 48Days.Net!

Finally, it sounds like you are interested in writing. If so, consider joining the Write It Forward. There are some great discussions going on that will likely be very profitable for you.

Plus, you might want to check out Speak It Forward as well. It's another group I'm involved with that has a lot of activity taking place.

Again, enjoy 48Days.Net. It's a great place to be!

Live it forward,
Kent Julian

Hi Will - Welcome to the 48 Days community. We're glad you joined.

This is the idea and social networking site for people that want to create their own opportunity or find the work they love.

I've been a coach under Dan's tutelage for about seven years and have been a member of this community since pretty much day one.

There is a wide selection of discussion groups to get involved with. If you'd like to take a peek at mine, "Raise your Game", here you go

An easy way to get started is by visiting the handy get started tutorial page. You'll find how-to videos and suggestions.

In gratitude,
