How did you hear about 48Days.NET, and what do you hope to get out of being a part of this community?
Through the Dave Ramsey podcasts.. I am working my 'job' until our website and brick & mortar retail store can replace my income. Will have all debts paid in next 6 months - then to purchase some rental/foreclosure properties.
Love listening to your podcast and now recommended it to my friend.
What is your current work situation? Employee, self-employed, generating any income on your own?
all of the above -
Piping Designer (engineering) - Employee
Owner of Lazy B General Store - self-employed - also - lazybgeneralstore.com
Generating own income - just bought a web-business - toottootshoes.com
And then...what is your goal/dream for your work life?
Working towards being able to run our retail business and other ventures full time.
How about your personal life? Any specific goals or achievements or dreams you are pursuing (or want to pursue)?
Want to have more usable time available to ride horses again in competition and travel with my daughter to shows.
What would you say are your strongest talents? How are you 'wired' and what can you offer to the world (it's OK if you don't know yet, but knowing is key to pursuing your dreams!)?
Hi Wendy and welcome to 48days and the Wealth building group. I look forward to your participation and hope you will take some time to go over the discussions and add your two cents. Let me know if you have any questions that I can answer or start a discussion on the wealth building group.
PS Also, in case you're interested, I offer a free resource entitled Goal-Setting That Actually Works! to those who join the Make The Move email community (also free). I think you'll get a ton out of both resources.
I try to take time each week to welcome new members to 48Days.Net. So, let me say "welcome" to you! I know you will find this to be a great site filled with people who are experiencing true success in both life and work.
One thing I noticed on your profile is you are a fan of both Dave Ramsey and Dan Miller. Me too. They give great advice and are very inspiring.
Also, I'd like to point out that one of the best places to connect with other liked-minded people here is in the GROUPS section. There are groups for just about every interest you can think of, and if you can't find a group that interests you, you can start one. Groups are my favorite part of 48Days.Net!
Finally, if you happen to be a speaker or author (or want to become either), check out these two groups. They are two of the most popular groups on the site because of all the great conversation taking place:
Hi Wendy -- Welcome to the 48 Days community. We're glad you joined.
This is the idea and social networking site for people that want to create their own opportunity.
Congratulations on being almost out of debt.
I'm curious, what are some of your ideas for getting your store to where you need it to be financially?
Depending on what your interests are, there is a wide selection of discussion groups to get involved with. if you are interested in getting in touch with the purpose and calling that is on your life, here is the link to ours, finding your voice.
