How did you hear about 48Days.NET, and what do you hope to get out of being a part of this community?
I heard about this website through Dan Miller's books. I hope to gain knowledge from experts in my field. I started a business based on the encouragement I rec'd from Dan Miller's books...
What is your current work situation? Employee, self-employed, generating any income on your own?
Self-employed. Started 'Smooth Sailing Financial Services;' and looking for this to generate enough income eventually to support a full time investment. Right now its a part time stream of income.
And then...what is your goal/dream for your work life?
Run 'Smooth Sailing' full time and fully know the blessing of being able to do what you love and make a living doing so. Doing something that matters to me and bring value to others by doing so.
How about your personal life? Any specific goals or achievements or dreams you are pursuing (or want to pursue)?
Starting my business is a big one for me. I've had this in my head for many years but didn't pull the trigger until I read 48 Day's.
What would you say are your strongest talents? How are you 'wired' and what can you offer to the world (it's OK if you don't know yet, but knowing is key to pursuing your dreams!)?
I am passionate about helping families and those who need a hand and can benefit through my life experiences and talents. I enjoy helping friends/family with finances and career coaching based on my past experiences. My wife and I were a mess financially, and finally we decided we needed something better, and through a step-by-step approach and a new way of thinking, we achieved. I want to help young families get encouragement, knowledge and hope from our experiences.

We are now in November and the holiday season is fast approaching. This can be the most enjoyable or the most stressful time of year (maybe both in some of our situation). With the heavy schedules, family commitments, shopping, wrapping and everything else, let's at least try to remove the financial…

The Long Journey

Church was really good this weekend. Ever have one of those weekend's at church where you just feel that the pastor is talking directly at you? You leave feeling energized and excited? I felt like that yesterday after church. What was being taught was Noah's long obedience to God. How Noah, in his…

Tyson, A few random thoughts, I'm in a position where I am tired a depending on other people for my happiness.  The only talent I have is my voice, any idea how to network that into a career so I can then have the money to invest to financially secure in my future.

Tyson, Thanks for welcoming me to the forum.  I'm thinking about becoming a financial coach and starting a blog.  A question that I have, do people or will people pay to have someone coach them on getting out of debt and get them on track?

I am looking to save up some money to attended Dave Ramsey financial coaching class.  Are you doing financial coaching fulltime?

thank you for your time!

Tyson, thank you for welcoming me! I was inspired how you allowed God to help you turn a real mess into something beautiful. You are providing a great service, I hope you and your family continues to prosper. My wife and I have gone through Financial Peace University and are continuing our studies of how to be good stewards of all areas of our life.
