Here's an easy one. I have 3 websites on 2 hosting accounts with Bluehost. I have 5 domain names registered. 2 with GoDaddy and 3 with Bluehost. Should I be moving my domain registration to someplace different to save a few bucks? If so, is it easy to do when you have sites up and running? Thanks, TomSee More

Profile Information

How did you hear about 48Days.NET, and what do you hope to get out of being a part of this community?
I listen to 48 days podcasts while working as an over-the-road truck driver. I have tried a few other jobs, but trucking is a passion and I will stay connected with the industry as a career choice. I hope to build an internet presence and 48 days has a great community of people willing to share some of the things I need to learn.
What is your current work situation? Employee, self-employed, generating any income on your own?
I work for a small, family owned livestock company in Wisconsin. I deliver livestock throughout the mid-west. I also do some barn work, customer service and a little bit of buying and selling of livestock. I usually work 3 1/2 days a week so I have free time to build an internet ministry.
And then...what is your goal/dream for your work life?
I love the job I have and I plan on staying here for years. I would also like to start a website/podcast combining the Christian faith and trucking. I bought 2 domain names and I am just starting on the website.
How about your personal life? Any specific goals or achievements or dreams you are pursuing (or want to pursue)?
# years ago I had all of the answers. Now, the economy injured our financial portfolio, my wife's recent bout with a nasty cancer makes us take life in smaller bites. You still make long term goals, but you have to get the most out of every day.
What would you say are your strongest talents? How are you 'wired' and what can you offer to the world (it's OK if you don't know yet, but knowing is key to pursuing your dreams!)?
I love people and tend to be a natural leader. I leave an impression. I

This is a rare treat. I have a morning at home on a week day. Monday through Friday usually finds me on the road. I could get used to this.
I just finished Dan's blog post about student loan debt. WOW. I never went to collage. I'm not proud of it, but it's a fact. I may get there some day but it's not a burning desire. I was born in 1960 and when I got out of the Navy in 1982 I had mouths to feed. Being the child of a blue collar family in the blue collar part of town I knew 2 things were…

Thanks again for joining us in Strengthen My Spiritual Life!

Hey, Tom! My husband (also Tom) is also a trucker! He's burned out from all the very early morning hours of getting up and working for someone else; however, there is a fear that he can't get past when it comes to actually leaving that job and us doing something for ourselves to generate income. We keep praying about it but he's afraid that as the family provider, he worries about not having a steady income each week. How do we get past this?

Hello Tom,

Just noticed you joined 48Days.net -- WELCOME! It's a great site with tons of great people.

If you happen to be a speaker or author (or want to become either), check out the following groups. They are two of the most popular groups on the site because of all the great conversation taking place.

* Speak It Forward -- REAL Success and Profit for Speakers!
* Write It Forward -- REAL Success and Profit for Writers!

One other thing…I want to offer you a gift. You can download my FR EE e-resource entitled Goal-Setting That Actually Works! by joining the REAL Success E-Zine community at www.liveitforward.com. It's a growing and dynamic community of people striving to live WAY BEYOND their average in the most important roles of their lives. I think you'll get a ton out of both the Goal-Setting product and the REAL Success E-Zine. And again, both are absolutely free.

Looking forward to connecting with you!
