Profile Information

How did you hear about 48Days.NET, and what do you hope to get out of being a part of this community?
I heard about 48 Days on the radio back before Y2K and followed Dan's work for about 10 or 15 years.
The job I have now has served me well for almost 20 years but my values are changing focus and so the job no longer matches them.
I've come back to reassess, network and gather new tools that will help me to get back on track with what makes my life and my work more meaningful.
What is your current work situation? Employee, self-employed, generating any income on your own?
Employee
And then...what is your goal/dream for your work life?
I found the ring of truth that can free all people.
It's a novel discovery that turns the clock back 6000 years.
I'm delivering it to the heart of man.
How about your personal life? Any specific goals or achievements or dreams you are pursuing (or want to pursue)?
The master in the art of living makes little distinction between his work and his play. To him he is always doing both and he leaves it to others do decide which one it is that he is doing.
What would you say are your strongest talents? How are you 'wired' and what can you offer to the world (it's OK if you don't know yet, but knowing is key to pursuing your dreams!)?
I'm deep, strong, thorough and true.
I'm a visionary and I have staying power.
I'm charming, intelligent, open minded and self sufficient.

Spelling is my greatest weakness.
It's worth the trade-off though.

Are you interested in finding a better job, starting a business, growing your current business, writing a book, blogging, podcasting, coaching, speaking, sales & marketing, or something else?
I'm currently producing a book that I would like to take on a speaking tour. It is very simple. I'm looking for the right writer and artist to write it in poem form and add illustrations. I would also like to produce a lesson book that covers the same material.
If you have a product or service to promote (now or in the near future) this is your shot to state it! Say all you'd like:
video production

Looking for a writer and an artist for a book I want to produce

Posted on November 19, 2016 at 12:30am 2 Comments

Following your talents makes your work come easier.

Following your interests keeps you naturally motivated.

Following your values gets you through the tough times.

Compromising on your values can cause you to burn out.

My values and interests are driving me to produce a book.

My talents do not include writing or doing artwork.

So, I'm looking for a writer and an artist.

I have the basic idea for the book.

It's short and sweet and…

The spectrum between love and fear.

Posted on November 9, 2016 at 7:28am 1 Comment

Fear and love occupy opposite ends of a spectrum that creates denial on one end and acceptance on the other. The stages along the way are ignoring, ridicule, anger, attacking, embarrassment, humility, bargaining, sorrow, compassion, and then ownership of our new perspective.
Our perspective drives our actions. Our actions create the consequences that affect our character and that is…

...where the heart finds truth

Before there was light there was sound and the sound resonated from the love of God asking, “What is truth?”.

And the light illuminated the answer that the sound resonated into physical manifestation.

The heart controls our thought. Thought controls our actions. Our actions create the consequences that affect our character and that is how and where the heart finds truth.

Looking back at me

I was afraid to look in the mirror because I though my reflection would chastise me and try to control me and make me feel bad.
Instead, I found my long lost best friend in there staring back at me, wondering if I was going to save him.

worthy goal

I know this is going to sound selfish to some of you but sometimes I think I should just quit my job and do something else. Of course I know I need to find that other something before I quit but I don’t know what I would do in place of it. I think it would be fair to start by identifying what it is that I don’t like about my job. At least that might help me to know what I need to avoid.

The first thing I don’t like about my job is the corporate culture. On one end you have a very… Continue

Way cool what you're doing with the airplane! I love when I see an idea where I think to myself, "Gee...I never thought about doing something like that!" What a clever, creative idea!

Thanks for leaving the comment on my blog post, btw. :)

Hey Tim! Thank you so much for that beautiful story you left on my page. I LOVE it! I see that you live in Bradyville, TN. I have no idea where that is, but I started a group called the "Nashvillians" and we would love to have you as a member. We do a lot of networking with locals within that group. I think you might like it. I also sent a friend request to you and am looking forward to getting to know you better.

Yes, I started a few years ago but have run in to a few complications that have required some downshifting. I’ve been in granny low for a while but have recently shifted back in to 1st gear.

The nest step is to finish a dolly that will be installed under the fuselage so that I can move it to Bradyville, where I’m living. I’ll remodel the inside and reassemble the outside and paint it while it is still on the ground.

The plane is a retired TWA - B727. Here are a few pictures of the dolly.

And here is the shameless glamour shot.

Building a house out of an airplane, interesting idea. Have you started yet. What type of plane are you using?

Hi,

I want to personally extend an invitation to you to join the group I am the host for a group called "Making A DREAM" where we are discussing our dreams and what we are doing to make them happen!

If you are interested in starting a business, I would like to invite you to challenge yourself with a FREE 7 day eCourse on my website. I offer this free because I want to introduce people to a different way of planning a business, the Agile way.

A Vision with out a Goal is just a Dream
A Goal without a Plan Is just a Wish

I hope you will join me in not just setting GOALS but making Agile PLANS to meet them.

Peace

Welcome. So glad you have joined all of us. The airplane house is awesome. I was in the Navy for 8 years and often wondered how cool it would be to have a home made from a Navy Warship. That would be pretty cool.

Again Welcome. Take care and God Bless.

Tim -- welcome to 48Days.net. Yeah I guess it has been about 10 years since we first met. You'll find this to be a very warm, encouraging and innovative group that thinks like you do about ideas. Incidentally if you're looking for an idea you might want to check out the blog I posted on Friday -- http://www.48days.net/profiles/blogs/need-an-idea-or-money -- on finding ideas and money. Lots of possibilities out there right now.

Delighted to have you join the group! Dan Miller
