- How did you hear about 48Days.NET, and what do you hope to get out of being a part of this community?
- I first heard about Dan Miller and 48 Days when I went through the Dave Ramsey counselor training. I hope to collaborate with other 48 Days coaches and help strengthen our collective group.
- What is your current work situation? Employee, self-employed, generating any income on your own?
- I am the retired Chief Procurement Officer at UAB and owner of the Real Business Solution Center.
- And then...what is your goal/dream for your work life?
- I retiredfrom my post at UAB to pursue my coaching and consulting business full time.
- What would you say are your strongest talents? How are you 'wired' and what can you offer to the world (it's OK if you don't know yet, but knowing is key to pursuing your dreams!)?
- I have engaged in business consulting throughout my professional career. My core specialty is Supply Chain Management and Business Start Up(purchasing, contracting, material management, accounts payable and supplier diversity).
My passion is to help individual families and business owners as they establish sound financial strategies.

I'm trying to do the same as a career transition, so I'm gathering every bit of info I can. Could you provide me with any useful links/resources for just starting out? My tentative goals are: 1) Read up on grant writing, 2) take a workshop/class, 3) offer free services to non-profits to build a portfolio, 4) land a grant writing job, 5) go out on my own. Your feedback would be greatly appreciated.
