I’m Overwhelmed…But It’s Not What You Think

It was a typical day in my life. Nothing spectacular was happening. I helped the kids to get ready for school. Worked around the house. Worked on projects to be completed. And, as I was completing these tasks, I prayed because something seemed to be missing. I prayed God would make Himself real to me and that He…See More

Are You Depressed?

This week, the death of Robin Williams struck a nerve in a lot of people. There was shock from some, others who said it shouldn’t have been a shock, and people calling for us to be aware of others around us who might be depressed. It was a cry from all religions that there was a need to help others around us. What a most…See More

Is Your Routine Too Complicated?

School is getting ready to start here in Tennessee and our family will once again be in a routine. Each year, it seems that our family is moving further and further into the “new times” of life. We have new schools, new sports, and new activities. Days seems to move quickly during this time and schedules are not…See More

A House Divided Against Itself Cannot Stand

Abraham Lincoln is my favorite president. I grew up going to his house, seeing his grave, watching plays about his childhood, and reading books on his life. In my adult life, I’ve visited even more places he visited or lived and believe I’ve managed to see all the sights available. So, when I hear the phrase “A…See More

Hi Susan,
Thank you for adding me as your friend.
Dan and Joanne Miller were kind enough to let us have the book release party at their place in Franklin.
Since you're in Nashville, we would love to have you join us in the festivities. Here's the scoop.

Hi Susan,

Hope you're having a super day.

It looks like you've been pretty active in the community. Good for you.

I did a fun show the other day with my friend Carrie Wilkerson. You might know her as the barefoot executive, and since you're desire is to work from home and be there for your kids, I thought you would enjoy it.

Here are some of the authors and experts we've had on our show. Hopefully you can find some more guidance here.

Good morning Susan,

Hope you are having a super day.

The best way to learn how this community works is to get involved in the discussion. We have an exciting one going on right now. We are encouraging and holding each other accountable in journaling our "successes" and "safety steps". Just like life - no lurkers, only participants.

They'll be an option for you to join the group if you haven't already. You'll probably find that option at the top middle or right hand side of the page once you get there.

See you in the discussion.

Hi Susan,

Good to hear from you. I'm curious, why do you think you need to sit on your religious views?

Your insights would be welcome in the Finding your Voice group. I hope to see you there.
