How did you hear about 48Days.NET, and what do you hope to get out of being a part of this community?
I first heard about 48Days.net from Dan's 48Days website.

I had purchased both his 48 Days To The Work You Love and Dave Ramsey's Total Money Makeover in January of 2007. I had signed up on the other site and got an invitation to check this one out.

I hope to be able to learn more about being a good business person and growing our company to where we can help others.
What is your current work situation? Employee, self-employed, generating any income on your own?
Update 1/16/2010 : We have celebrated the one year anniversary of our business, Queen Bee Animal Feed & Supply, and are looking forward to see what 2010 will bring.

Update 1/3/13 : We had to close the feed business about a year ago due to health issues. I am now working for one of the big box 'hardware' stores in their Garden department and having a blast helping people.
And then...what is your goal/dream for your work life?
My goal is to continue to be healthy enough to continue working for a few more years. At my present position, I am able to 'vicariously' assist people with their gardens and landscaping by helping them to choose the correct materials for their projects.
How about your personal life? Any specific goals or achievements or dreams you are pursuing (or want to pursue)?
Part of my goal has already been realized. After working a 12 hour rotating shift for 32 years, I have been able to be home at night every night with my sweetheart since 2006.

We recently celebrated our 43rd anniversary. God is good.
What would you say are your strongest talents? How are you 'wired' and what can you offer to the world (it's OK if you don't know yet, but knowing is key to pursuing your dreams!)?
I was taught at an early age that a man's word should be his bond and that if you don't have personal integrity, you really don't have much of anything.

I have always been able to talk to people and I really enjoy helping to provide a solution to their problem or help them find what they are looking for (tangible goods).

"Try Stark Brothers for one, but just a heads up that anything 'mail order' / online will tend to be smaller and probably bare root. If you want omething more mature, check with local nurseries now to see what they carry in the…"

Steve Wilson replied to Mary Lawson's discussion Pest Control - Hoppers! in the group Grow Your Business
"Mary, You might try Diatomaceous Earth. Basically, it is the miscroscopic skeletons of long-gone diatoms. To a bug (grasshopper, slug, etc) it is like crawling on broken glass.   Here is a link to one version of a mix you can make to apply it.…"

"Abdulrahman, I'm glad to see that you are getting your business off the ground. I think having animals for sale would be a very good idea. Again, the same research would apply to see what kind of animals people are wanting. Are there any…"

"Karen, I don't know what part of the country you are located in, but all of the ideas you are 'tossing around' sound great. My daughter-in-law home-schooled both our grandsons up to last year. She tells us that she is always on the…"
