So first of all I'm using a sony point and shoot camera to do my videos and second I'm using imovie to edit and export from there. I noticed if I try to watch the video in full screen its…See More

Hey Sara, I just answered your question on Coach Radio.

http://www.coachradio.tv/084-coach-radio-why-i-limit-groups-to-five-people

Sorry it took a little bit to get to it. I had a tough travel schedule over the past month and a half and my shows were a bit non-standard.

If there's anything I can do for you, let me know.

I'm happy to help, Sara. I'd love to answer this on an upcoming show. Would that be alright? I'll be able to go much further in depth that way.

How did you hear about 48Days.NET, and what do you hope to get out of being a part of this community?
I heard about 48Days.NET on Dan Millers podcast. I hope to connect with others and share ideas.
What is your current work situation? Employee, self-employed, generating any income on your own?
I am currently self-employed. I started a house cleaning business five years ago with a friend. We now do house cleaning, apartment make ready cleaning, office cleaning and new construction clean up. We have have been able to create more income in our cleaning business then we ever would have made at our previous jobs. Being self-employed also gave me the ability to set my own hours which has given me the freedom to set my hours around my kids schedule. I LOVE the freedom of self-employment!
And then...what is your goal/dream for your work life?
I could never see myself going back to a traditional job. As our business has continued to grow I have been asking myself this question. I started cleaning because I wanted to replace my old income and still have the flexibility to be with my kids on a more full time basis. We have talked about hiring people but I'm not sure I really want to go that direction. We have worked our schedules around our family life and only need occasional help. We do get contacted occasionally by people seeking employment. Lately I have been thinking maybe a better way would be to teach these people to run their own business and maybe structure it to where we could charge a fee or commission to help them get started?
How about your personal life? Any specific goals or achievements or dreams you are pursuing (or want to pursue)?
I am a wife to David and a mommy to three daughters. That keeps me pretty busy! Right now I am thinking of trying a few of Dans 48 Low Cost Business Ideas. Mostly as a learning experiment. I have learned a lot from my cleaning business but am really wanting to try something new that will challenge me. Maybe someday I can help others find freedom in self-employment.
What would you say are your strongest talents? How are you 'wired' and what can you offer to the world (it's OK if you don't know yet, but knowing is key to pursuing your dreams!)?
Um? I get bored very quickly and enjoy the challenge of starting something new. I am a bit introverted so I really need to work on the marketing end of things in new business. Because self-employment has brought so much freedom to creating the family life I want I am hopeful that someday I can help other people find that freedom.
