How did you hear about 48Days.NET, and what do you hope to get out of being a part of this community?
I saw a link to 48Days on the CBN site, and I took a teleclass that Dan and Kevin taught. It was an awesome class! That was a few years ago, in 2006 and I am well on my way....and enjoying every step. There have been a number of bumps in the road....but, I learn something most every time I visit the 48Day.net site.
What is your current work situation? Employee, self-employed, generating any income on your own?
I was self employed...and I loved it!
Then some things happened where I had to back-up for a season, and go back to work. Now, I do both. But, I am moving in the direction of self-employment again.
And then...what is your goal/dream for your work life?
To write & illustrate my own books. (traditional publishing and self publishing) And lease my artwork & designs for licensing purposes, And have a site (TheDrawPage.com) to teach kids & their Grown-ups to draw.
How about your personal life? Any specific goals or achievements or dreams you are pursuing (or want to pursue)?
I want to be healthy and ALIVE to share with my grandchildren and enjoy time with my husband and friends and family. I want to be able to share the love of Jesus.
What would you say are your strongest talents? How are you 'wired' and what can you offer to the world (it's OK if you don't know yet, but knowing is key to pursuing your dreams!)?
I'm a good listener. I love to paint and draw and make quirky little characters.
I enjoy sharing stories with children. and I love seeing other artists succeed...I guess because I know how much I enjoy that.

You can see it on my blog page right under my header, but the print is pretty small and not so noticeable. But I'm glad you contacted me because if you're having trouble finding the etsy shop, I bet others are too--something I can tweak on my blog! Thanks Rose!
Hey Rose! Etsy is the place where I generally sell my ready-made items. Before I moved states, I mostly received orders in person or email. People would give me color suggestions and I'd create the journals for them specifically. I still do that, but people mostly contact me through facebook or email to request their journal.
I used to show photos of the interiors, but since I don't have a camera (other than built in on my laptop), I haven't figured out how to show those pages yet. It's a learning curve!
Hello Rose! Thanks for your interest in my journals--I love them, but I'm pretty biased! I do create custom pieces for people. Some people like the journal pages, but want to specify a color combination or theme they would like for the cover. Occasionally I have people asking for custom interior pages. So far I've had a request for a pregnancy journal, a memory book for a new baby, an artist event sign-in book (for Rachael VT), and a numbered journal to accompany Ann Voskamp's book One Thousand Gifts. I'm enjoying seeing your posts and art in the Artist's group!
hi rose, I love your work.!! it was so nice to connect with you at the sanctuary. will work on getting your idea of offering a virtual class from the sanctuary. I Love this artistic adventure we are on!!!!
So nice to meet you at Write it Forward. Question: I am considering a few upcoming projects in the fall that may require your talents. If you can send me an email to firstname.lastname@example.org, I can send a few attachments to provide more detail. (or I guess I can attach them on the 48days network). Just let me know what works best for you.
Also, noticed your quote by Helen Keller on your page. I'll be signing books during the Helen Keller Festival this week in Tuscumbia, Alabama. It's a great event you should consider attending in the future!
PS Also, if you didn't check out the free e-resource I offer entitled Goal-Setting That Actually Works! ($47 Value) to those who join the REAL Success E-Zine community (also free) at www.liveitforward.com, be sure to do so. I think you'll get a ton out of both resources.
