How did you hear about 48Days.NET, and what do you hope to get out of being a part of this community?
I was referred to the "48 Days to the Work you Love" by one of the members of a mentoring group I belong to. I've found it to be inspirational, as well as the info on the website. Before I got the book, there was something unfulfilled about my life. I'm now in a transitional period of heading for a true vocation after having a successful career. This is a great journey and I want to learn and share with others.
What is your current work situation? Employee, self-employed, generating any income on your own?
Part owner of a construction/project management consulting firm.
And then...what is your goal/dream for your work life?
to pursue my passion of the exploration and development of the individual, myself included, reaching past where we think we can go personally, professionally, spiritually, to be what God intended us to be.
How about your personal life? Any specific goals or achievements or dreams you are pursuing (or want to pursue)?
I'm working on an opportunity to join a non-profit group that works with and mentors students in lower income areas; pursuing a consultancy practice.
What would you say are your strongest talents? How are you 'wired' and what can you offer to the world (it's OK if you don't know yet, but knowing is key to pursuing your dreams!)?
Communication skills - listening as well as speaking. Philosophical in nature - an idea person who encourages exploration of concepts that seem nutty. Putting others before me.
