Your place for community & resources to find or create work you love

We are so glad you're here and ready to take the next step! We created 48days.net as a place for community. For people to encourage each other and help each other in finding or creating work that is meaningful.

But frankly, we've outgrown it, so we're moving to provide you new resources.

48Days.net will be closing as it is today on November 30, 2017. Until then current members can click the button below to access groups and resources.

If you're new to 48days.net, connect here for a close up look at our thriving 48 Days Eagles Community and to get weekly free resources and motivation as you find and create work you love.

Profile Information

How did you hear about 48Days.NET, and what do you hope to get out of being a part of this community?
Dan Miller announced this new format to those of us on an older platform for coaches.

Being part of the 48 Days online community will provide encouragement and resource ideas to help me further my web based business and ministry ventures.
What is your current work situation? Employee, self-employed, generating any income on your own?
Now an internet Chaplain, I am fulfilling my purpose by helping people be all they can be through the grace of God. A Board Certified Chaplain (retired status), I am a self employed website publisher using the internet to generate retirement income.
And then...what is your goal/dream for your work life?
I see the internet as a tool for a successful internet based business as well as an internet ministry tool. My purpose to help people be all they can be by the grace of God while creating internet based income streams. By bringing people throughout the world to faith focused websites, My goal is to encourage faithfulness, provide personal hope, and introduce revenue producing strategies for funding ministries or web-focused businesses..
How about your personal life? Any specific goals or achievements or dreams you are pursuing (or want to pursue)?
I purpose to make my retirement years even more fruitful, enjoying deep family relationships, purposeful ministry, and financial success.
What would you say are your strongest talents? How are you 'wired' and what can you offer to the world (it's OK if you don't know yet, but knowing is key to pursuing your dreams!)?
I enjoy prompting people to see faith possibilities in career change as well as entrepreneurial opportunities in fulfilling God's purpose for one's life.
Do you have a website presence anywhere?
Are you interested in finding a better job, starting a business, growing your current business, writing a book, blogging, podcasting, coaching, speaking, sales & marketing, or something else?

Google Teaches Me A Lesson On Pride

Posted on November 28, 2011 at 5:58pm 0 Comments

Whoops! Google wanted me to learn a Biblical truth: "Pride goes before the fall!".  Some of us with websites have learned that Google is fond of animals, this time their favorite pet is a Panda.

Simply put, traffic took a nosedive, with income this month being half of other month's earnings.  New algorithms by the search engine with a name seemingly made by a baby learning to talk (GooGoo) have placed many of my pages deeper down on the results.

My websites needed to be updated…

College Plus Purpose

College A Scam Question:

Asking if College was a scam, the writer of that question had some real concerns.  She had attended 3 years but still had around 2 more years to go because of career uncertainties.  Members of the particular forum were all over the map as to their opinions.

Overall, statistics prove that college degrees do improve earning power over a lifetime.  Yet perhaps the question should be how…

Unofficially Retired or Re-tired

What Does It Mean To Be Re-tired?

Most people would view retirement as a slowing down period but most who have retired find out it means having a bunch of new bosses needing your "free" services.

I kind of like the idea that a company like Firestone or the tire center at Walmart have for their customers, not their employees, that re-tirement is adding the potential for a lot more miles by getting new tires for your…
