Your place for community & resources to find or create work you love

We are so glad you're here and ready to take the next step! We created 48days.net as a place for community. For people to encourage each other and help each other in finding or creating work that is meaningful.

But frankly, we've outgrown it, so we're moving to provide you new resources.

48Days.net will be closing as it is today on November 30, 2017. Until then current members can click the button below to access groups and resources.

How did you hear about 48Days.NET, and what do you hope to get out of being a part of this community?
I bought the book 48 days, heard about it from Dave Ramsey and discovered .net from one of the phone simulcast.
What is your current work situation? Employee, self-employed, generating any income on your own?
Self employed
And then...what is your goal/dream for your work life?
Helping and Coaching people also and dealing with firearms repair.
How about your personal life? Any specific goals or achievements or dreams you are pursuing (or want to pursue)?
I am now a certified DR financial counselor, and plan on doing it for profit asap and I am really interested in career coaching and business coaching.. I am also checking on some gunsmithing possibilities, but that is more longterm.
What would you say are your strongest talents? How are you 'wired' and what can you offer to the world (it's OK if you don't know yet, but knowing is key to pursuing your dreams!)?
I love helping and encouraging people, I also enjoy sales. I really enjoy some technical things also, I was a lab technician before entering into self employment, and enoyed that type of work but not the shift work.
Do you have a website presence anywhere?
Are you interested in finding a better job, starting a business, growing your current business, writing a book, blogging, podcasting, coaching, speaking, sales & marketing, or something else?
If you have a product or service to promote (now or in the near future) this is your shot to state it! Say all you'd like:
If you want a personal financial or small businesss financial plan to win check me out I would love to help you.

Is the resolution working?

Is the resolution working? Then try this.

They say the percentage of people who achieve their resolutions are about 8%.  You may be thinking this is going to be one of those blogs that will fire me up to work harder to achieve my resolutions or one that reminds me that I have failed once again. I can throw out statistics that say if you do A+B=C every time (yeah sure it does, NOT)   you will do better.  We have been smothered with work harder, do…

Managing the T's of life

My former pastor and spiritual father in the faith, Wade Trimmer wrote a great news letter on stewardship here. I will post the T's here. Stewardship is not just about money!

What and Why

What and why

In dealing with people and their finances I not only teach them what to do with their money, but we have to understand why they got to this place financially. Everyone usually starts out thinking that they are broke because they don’t make enough or that one certain circumstance caused them to get behind and stay there.  Some times this is true, but not always.  If a person can add and subtract they have the head knowledge to know when to stop…

Hi Tim! Finally a genuine sounding comment! Haha. Thanks for the welcome, much appreciated. I'm still figuring this site out but yes, I would love to share some knowledge with anyone who will listen once I find the right place for it. :)

Hello Tim,

Earlier this month you provided some valuable feedback on my CareerClips idea and I'm wondering if I could have a few moments of your time to complete a brief survey.

You are already somewhat familiar with the idea but the survey contains an introductory paragraph that explains things in more detail. The survey should take less than 5 minutes to complete and all results are confidential. Your feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance for your help. Here is the link to the survey:

Hello Tim:
I am doing okay, going through battles but holding on. I am dealing with issues regarding creativity and seeking God for help on how I can create income, even though I have been giving good ideas. Please keep me in your prayers, and I am thankful that you care.

Amen to that Tim! Since you're focusing on marketing, you'll want to also join Jimi Gibson's Personal Branding group here: http://www.48days.net/group/findyourbanana?xg_source=activity.

Be encouraged!
