Something Has To Give

I think it's amazing how fast life can change, how one single event can impact someone so deeply that it changes their entire thought process. You can wake up unaware of the changes awaiting you as you drive to work one day, and a single phone call can change it all.It started out as a typical Monday morning, woke up, ate my oatmeal and drove to work and arrived promptly at 6:30 a.m. So here I was…See More

Daddy, I just want to skip

The entire drive home from work all I can think is sitting down and relaxing (I'm sure I'm the only one who thinks this). When you have two kids those moments are few and far in between, but gosh how nice they feel when we do get them am I right? The amazing thing is, kids don't think like this, I have never met a child yet who thought it was time to calm down because daddy had a long day at work.So here I am tired and ready to calm down for the night and my son just starts skipping all over…See More

What Are Your Intentions?

I don't care how young or old we  are,we all do it. We do things that deep down we know it is with the wrong intentions and we shouldn't do it. Even worse, when this action meets success we then rationalize it saying things like " all things work out for a reason" or " it could have been worse". I guess one might find a reason why this might be ok in some situations, but for most we try to sweep it under the rug and convince ourselves and everyone around us we really meant to do good, it was…See More

Know Your Calling

Are you getting paid to do what you were made to do? You see Zig Ziglar explains in his book "Better Than Good" that the only way to live a "better than good life" is to implement the three P's to your life, the three P's are passion, peak performance, and purpose. The sad fact is that most people have no idea what their passion or purpose is, they want to believe that their employer is receiving their peak performance but…See More

Don't Mess It Up Stupid

So here you stand looking into the abyss, palms sweaty, dry throat and no idea what to say. You walk timidly towards the door and you are suddenly want to make a run for the hills. When the door is suddenly opened and you are greeted by a receptionist asking you if your here for the 10am interview. You see an interview is much like a first date, both sides are looking for the right fit, both sides are in…See More

It's not your fault if you hate you job, but you are to blame if you stay there! Mike,

I sincerely appreciate your comment about my ebook, The Unofficial Guide to Motivation. I'm so glad you like it. As for your idea about sharing my book, I'll email you about it. Obviously, I'd love for you to share it, if you so desire. So we'll see what we can work out. :-)

Thanks,

Scott

Hi Mike,

Thanks for the friend request. I see that you're working toward becoming a self-employed life coach. How is that coming along so far? What other passions do you have, other than helping people?

Cheers,

Hi Mike,

Just noticed you joined 48Days.net -- WELCOME! It's a great site with tons of great people.

Sounds like you are a communicator and interested in speaking. If so, consider joining the Speak It Forward group (link below). There are some great discussions going on that will likely be very profitable for you.
