Hi Melodie,

Sounds good, however don't ignore the other platforms for long, since they might resonate with your message / strategy better. One thing I really liked about the book is how Gary distinguishes between the platforms and emphasizes what works for each.

All that to say that there is no harm in reading the chapters, since they give you information. If you choose to still focus on Facebook because it works best for you of the current options, then focus and rock on!

Hope these thoughts help. :)

Hi Melodie,

I was cleaning up some emails and I noticed that you promised to have Gary Vee's book Jab, Jab, Jab, Right Hook finished by now.

What did you think of it. :)

Hi Melodie:

Thank you so much for your comments.  I am passionate about helping couples before they hit the law office.  It was such a horrible experience for most (including me).  I am hoping that Alan saw our comments about combining some activities at the Sanctuary next spring.  I would LOVE to meet you there and we can always help each other and exchange ideas.

You are my hero with your languages and travel.  I have set a goal to learn Italian because my brother rented a villa in Umbria for next September.  I can't wait. Any ideas on the best way to learn Italian.

I am honored to have a new friendship with you.

I have certainly thought about it but he is a bit apprehensive at this point. I'm going to give him a little break and see if I can come up with a cost effective vacation and maybe he'll be more up for it. He thinks all my vacations or expensive and extravagant. If he only knew the vacations I would REALLY like to plan..

For my bakery, my vision is to make it comfortable, homey and to focus on using fresh ingredients. I want it to be friendly and customer centric. So many business owners around here are so rude. I think being customer focused will set us a part for sure.

First phase is to find a local commercial kitchen I can bake out of and try to save for a store front. But since I'm thinking about moving (possibly to the west coast) I have to figure out what the best path would be.

Hi Melodie!

What kind of baking are you into? I started out almost 10 years ago with a sweet potato cheese cake that I would make for Thanksgiving and it became so popular, the following year I was making 3-4 cheesecakes for family members. It just kind of expanded from there. I'm now at the point where I gained the confidence to believe I can make a business out of it. Elon is actually my middle name. I always loved it and thought it made for a nice restaurant/bakery name :)

My daughter is actually really into linguistics and has taken Spanish and Japanese in high school. She wants to also take German and Russian. She wants to go to school for teaching and translation and go to Japan after graduating college.

I'm currently on the east coast and am trying to convince my beau to move to the west coast. Was it a big transition for you? How do you like New Mexico?

Thanks for your comments about the survey, Melodie. I had some good responses which helped me to know where to focus. Some responses also told me that I need to word my questions better. I appreciate your time to do this!

Well, hi Melodie, my fellow Las Crucesen!  Not sure that's even a word but I think it'll work.  Just finished the seminar at Golden Mesa, was wonderful to interact with the folks there and hear some of their stories.  Take care, and I love your business idea.  With your language fluency and art interest it should take off.
