Your place for community & resources to find or create work you love

We are so glad you're here and ready to take the next step! We created 48days.net as a place for community. For people to encourage each other and help each other in finding or creating work that is meaningful.

But frankly, we've outgrown it, so we're moving to provide you new resources.

48Days.net will be closing as it is today on November 30, 2017. Until then current members can click the button below to access groups and resources.

If you're new to 48days.net, connect here for a close up look at our thriving 48 Days Eagles Community and to get weekly free resources and motivation as you find and create work you love.

How did you hear about 48Days.NET, and what do you hope to get out of being a part of this community?
I heard about it from the 48days podcast, which was referred by Ray Edwards.
I hope to get support, ideas, encouragement, and inspiration from this community.
What is your current work situation? Employee, self-employed, generating any income on your own?
And then...what is your goal/dream for your work life?
To leave the job I hate, and become my own boss.
How about your personal life? Any specific goals or achievements or dreams you are pursuing (or want to pursue)?
My dream is to be home for my family. I want to finish writing a book, and make a final effort towards a singing career. I would like to be financially able to travel with my family anytime, and anywhere. Overall, I'd like to offer something that can make a positive difference in the lives of people.
What would you say are your strongest talents? How are you 'wired' and what can you offer to the world (it's OK if you don't know yet, but knowing is key to pursuing your dreams!)?
People say I'm a good storyteller, I have a passion for reading, and researching information. I'm a fairly decent cook. I have a great passion for fishing. Recently I've discovered that I like to write, which could be a vehicle to offer the world. Whatever else I am, I have not discovered yet, though I'm searching right now.
Do you have a website presence anywhere?
Are you interested in finding a better job, starting a business, growing your current business, writing a book, blogging, podcasting, coaching, speaking, sales & marketing, or something else?
I am interested in starting a business, writing a book, blogging, possibly coaching, and or podcasting. Singing jazz standards, etc.
If you have a product or service to promote (now or in the near future) this is your shot to state it! Say all you'd like:
I've recently started a blog, I try to keep the context centered on inspiration, encouragement, faith, and ideas.
Feel free to share your Twitter name, Facebook page, and any other social media way to connect with you!

Cat's in the cradle and the silver spoon, little boy blue and the man in the moon, "when are you coming home dad?", i don't know when, but we'll get together then...you know we'll have a good time then.

I've lived the lyrics of this song for 20 years as an over the road trucker. I've missed…

Our Experiences Shape Our Perspectives

Posted on September 22, 2015 at 9:24pm 0 Comments

Change can be both exciting, and terrifying at the same time for many of us. Some of us have spent decades mired in jobs that we hate, Jobs that some of us thought were our dream job, only to be disappointed in the end. Some of us worked jobs out of necessity, necessity being survival, and became trapped.

Whatever our reasons were, those experiences shaped our perspective for better or for worse.  My personal perspective was shaped by poverty, and a cult religion that justified…
