I am Failing at Keeping Memories Alive

I watched the new version of Roots this weekend. I haven’t seen the original; I was six so I can plead innocence for not watching it when it first came out.  When I first started watching it, and throughout most of the series, I thought I was watching a movie about one families struggles with slavery.  At the very end of the movie I came to understand that it was a movie about one family working hard to hang on to traditions and the memories of their ancestors.  …See More

Must Get Ball!!!

Posted on May 17, 2016 at 6:00am 3 Comments

We adopted a dog almost a year ago.  He struggled with the concept of fetch for a while but in the last few months has really picked up on the game.  In fact he has become a little OCD about it.  He chooses a ball, usually the nastiest old tennis ball he can find lying around in the yard.  Brings it over and drops it at my feet.  If I don’t see it, he will pick it up and drop it a few more times.  If that doesn’t work he adds a little whimper to get my attention. …

Soft deadline is end of February but sooner the better. All contributors will become published authors come April with full authorship credit and bio. Email me at cskwarcan (at) gmail (dot) com for additional info--thanks!

Hi Matt,

Just noticed you joined 48Days.net -- WELCOME! It's a great site with tons of great people.

If you happen to be a speaker or author (or want to become either), check out the following groups. They are two of the most popular groups on the site because of all the great conversation taking place.

* Speak It Forward -- REAL Success and Profit for Speakers!
* Write It Forward -- REAL Success and Profit for Writers!

One other thing…I want to offer you a gift. You can download my FR EE e-resource entitled Goal-Setting That Actually Works! by joining the REAL Success E-Zine community at www.liveitforward.com. It's a growing and dynamic community of people striving to live WAY BEYOND their average in the most important roles of their lives. I think you'll get a ton out of both the Goal-Setting product and the REAL Success E-Zine. And again, both are absolutely free.

Looking forward to connecting with you!

Live it forward,
Kent Julian

Hi Matt -- Welcome to the 48 Days community. We're glad you joined.

This is the idea and social networking site for people that want to create their own opportunity.

What are some of your ideas for moving into the work and life you've always wanted?

Depending on what your interests are, there is a wide selection of discussion groups to get involved with.

One group that is worth looking into is 180 Service Station.
Good stuff going on in there.

Another group you'll want to stop by is the 4 points coaching compass. That's my group.
You are invited to get involved in the discussion. One of our members is narrowing down his list of potential business names. Stop by and share your thoughts on the name you like best.
