"Mary, thanks for the information. Yes, I do have someone with some disabilities that I would like to discuss with you. Email at email@example.com with a couple of dates and times that would be good to connect and I'll see if we…"
Great question. My first thought was to contact my local public transportation service (in the Portland area it is Trimet) to ask. I then tried the offices of the county where I live, the department of senior services, or…"
Thank you for your reply. You, the children of my potential customers, are part of the target market
group that I know I need to reach. Can you tell me "where" you have been looking for this service, to assist me in…"
"I've been searching for a service like this in my area for over a year now, with little success. My mom can't drive anymore but is otherwise active. I would love to get her help with local transportation, as well as trips that…"
"I love it.
You're more talking about providing an experience than offering a service.
Too bad you couldn't find a way to offer such a service to those who had been given a terminal diagnosis so that they could do one…"
Sounds like a wonderful possibility. And with the aging Baby Boomers I suspect you could stay as busy as you'd like. There are too many factors here to have a cookie-cutter response. Most truck drivers are being paid about $.40/mile…"
Seeking input for on the idea of hiring out as a driver/tour guide for people who no longer can/want to drive, but would like to travel. I have done this for family members at no cost, I have been approached by another person to do some driving for them. I have no idea what I should charge. These journeys are 2500 - 3500 miles of travel, by car. I would consider being a travel companion for people (my target market would most likely be widows) to make their trip of a lifetime happen. …See More
From a purchase point of view, I would lean toward the title's of Communication Made Easy, the How To, and then I would consider something with a title like Communication skills for Lifetime relationships.
I have seen this disclaimer before. I was glad to see it so I could utilize the information in something that I wanted to post. It is like you are giving people permission to share your work, with your name attached, to their tribe. More…"
"If there's ever a chance that you'd want to do something, you should buy the other domains now, to get them before someone else does.
If there's a plural possibility, you'll want that too...
For example, if you are www.car.com…"
I agree with Rose and Jim, especially that .org, .info, and .net domain names can be purchased and used as a redirect to your .com site. Another tip I learned is that people may not always remember the full domain name and it might…"
"I looked around for the answer to this question from a lot of sources and I believe most would agree with this ranking for most sites:
.com - Best
.org & .net - 2nd best
.info - 3rd choice
.me, etc. - Least desirable
My 2 cents
Mary, thanks for the information. Yes, I do have someone with some disabilities that I would like to discuss with you. Email at firstname.lastname@example.org with a couple of dates and times that would be good to connect and I'll see if we can set a time talk. Also, my cell is 615-498-6498. Royce
Nothing wrong with giving away free stuff as long as it's part of your plan.
Let it be a value-added perk, that way, it's a nice surprise for your audience and event planners. Let people know that you normally sell it for $14.95 on your site (or whatever is the price), build the value.
I saw your post about needing more info for building a website. What a great way to start the new year!
I've been a 48days member since it first began and have been a 48days approved web design coach. Last year I was able to go to the Sanctuary and meet Dan! I started a fast growing group for WordPress web design and have been able to help a lot of 48days members. I own a Web design and media company so you know that I'll be putting all my efforts into your project (no moonlighting jobs while working another full time job here).
I'd be honored to speak with you about your needs and how I can help. I sent you a friend request and perhaps we can talk on the phone about your ideas of your future website.
