Your place for community & resources to find or create work you love

We are so glad you're here and ready to take the next step! We created 48days.net as a place for community. For people to encourage each other and help each other in finding or creating work that is meaningful.

But frankly, we've outgrown it, so we're moving to provide you new resources.

48Days.net will be closing as it is today on November 30, 2017. Until then current members can click the button below to access groups and resources.

If you're new to 48days.net, connect here for a close up look at our thriving 48 Days Eagles Community and to get weekly free resources and motivation as you find and create work you love.

Profile Information

How did you hear about 48Days.NET, and what do you hope to get out of being a part of this community?
Through Dave Ramsey. I hope to get a clearer picture of my strength and weaknesses that will allow me to create a business that works for me and that I enjoy. My current business is great but it definitely needs some tweaking to be the business i want and really enjoy.
What is your current work situation? Employee, self-employed, generating any income on your own?
Self - employed
And then...what is your goal/dream for your work life?
Creating a business that energizes and excites me while still having the flexibility to have a life and be available to my family who increasingly needs help. I would also love to get back to working on some of my hobbies like photography!
How about your personal life? Any specific goals or achievements or dreams you are pursuing (or want to pursue)?
Find more time for hobbies, my spiritual life and find a balance between my home based business and my life.
What would you say are your strongest talents? How are you 'wired' and what can you offer to the world (it's OK if you don't know yet, but knowing is key to pursuing your dreams!)?
Very creative, love to troubleshoot, create order out of chaos.
Do you have a website presence anywhere?
Are you interested in finding a better job, starting a business, growing your current business, writing a book, blogging, podcasting, coaching, speaking, sales & marketing, or something else?
If you have a product or service to promote (now or in the near future) this is your shot to state it! Say all you'd like:
As a WordPress Website Consultant I guide solopreneurs through the process of establishing an online platform that they can manage themselves.
Feel free to share your Twitter name, Facebook page, and any other social media way to connect with you!

Selecting the best WordPress Theme for You - Part 2

Posted on September 30, 2010 at 10:12am 0 Comments

There is another group of WordPress templates out there called, for lack of a better term - "Bulk Themes". This is a place where you can plop down $50-75 bucks and have access to literally hundreds of themes. These are great sites to look at if you love themes. You will find just about everything under the sun.

But just like free themes... you really need to be careful.… Continue

Selecting the best WordPress Theme for You - Part 1

Posted on September 16, 2010 at 2:30pm 0 Comments

Selecting a theme is a dangerous proposition, at least it is for me :). Themes are fun! Addicting and time consuming.

There are so many to choose from Free Themes, Premium Themes, Bulk Themes... This week we are going to take a closer took at Free Themes, where to find them, what to look for and what to consider.

First things first... Free Themes are fun - looking at all the options, the creativity of designers and incredible array of features. And even better,… Continue

WordPress Wednesday: Press This Tool

Posted on August 4, 2010 at 9:30am 2 Comments

The more I learn about WordPress the more I realize I have to learn. The "Press This" tool is quite a tool, to not have to think about logging into your site in order to do a quick post may be exactly what is needed to get your blogging habit back on track.

For my bookmarks toolbar I use Xmarks which you can sync across computers and different browsers. Hmm, I"m sensing another tutorial....

Thanks to… Continue

Hi Marta, I am a fellow Oregonian from Beaverton! I was following a "rabbit trail" of people on 48days and found you. I just thought I'd say hi. Where did you get the name Blue Jeans for your company? Have you looked at your business and determined what you like about it and what you don't like about it?

Just noticed you joined 48Days.net -- WELCOME! It's a great site with tons of great people.

If you happen to be a speaker or author (or want to become either), check out the following groups. They are two of the most popular groups on the site because of all the great conversation taking place.

* Speak It Forward -- REAL Success and Profit for Speakers!
* Write It Forward -- REAL Success and Profit for Writers!

One other thing…I want to offer you a gift. You can download my FR EE e-resource entitled Goal-Setting That Actually Works! by joining the REAL Success E-Zine community at www.liveitforward.com. It's a growing and dynamic community of people striving to live WAY BEYOND their average in the most important roles of their lives. I think you'll get a ton out of both the Goal-Setting product and the REAL Success E-Zine. And again, both are absolutely free.

Looking forward to connecting with you!

Live it forward,
Kent Julian
