Doubtbusters: Changing Your Mindset

Hello!I’m not good enough…If they really knew me…Everyone else does it better…I’m not worthy…We all have it.  The fear of being seen.  Not a fear of being seen in our latest contrived photo-shopped selfie on Facebook.  Not a fear of being seen in our latest story of  “I’m the greatest” as we rail on about the ailments of our society and how things would be different if we were in charge.  Instead, our fear of being seen is that primal fear that if someone really knew who we were at our core,…See More

Crucial Conversations

Hello,Recently I presented a training on parent engagement and crucial conversations for the staff at a local school.  You might wonder why a school would be interested.  It was a school that already delivers a great academic program with lots of dedicated teachers.  The involvement of parents is outstanding with a stellar number of parent volunteer hours.  However, for most teachers, interaction with parents is the most challenging aspect of their job.  They know what to do for and with…See More

And then...what is your goal/dream for your work life?
I would like to develop my talents as a speaker. At present this is my main focus as I develop a website, topics for speaking and marketing.
How about your personal life? Any specific goals or achievements or dreams you are pursuing (or want to pursue)?
I have two wonderful daughters, ages 23 and 26 who are the light of my life. I try to fulfill the role of an encouraging and inspirational mom.

Lynne:  Thank you so very much for the warm welcome!  This is my very first post to anything on 48 Days!  I have been reading your group's postings in the last two days and really love what I'm reading.  My membership has just been confirmed and the first thing I am going to do is joint your group.  ;)  Thank you!

Hi, Lynne. Thank you for inviting me to join your group. I just returned from the Coaching With Excellence workshop this weekend. I have a lot to ponder! My problem is that I'm a jack of all trades and a master of none. As I was in that coaching seminar I made a list of about 12-15 different topics I could coach. I have a very specific target market in mind for each. Now the narrowing down and focusing begins!

Thank you, Lynne, for your warm welcome.  A Called Women sounds really interesting and seems to be a group I would really like to join.  I will do so as soon as I get my profile information completed.  I look forward to learning a lot from all of you and hopefully helping just as many of you!

Hi Lynne, I am working on an E-book.   How did you create yours?   Did you use Amazon's Createspace?  Or do you have any suggestions?   I'd appreciate insights.   I have one book Erasing Adversity published a couple years ago, but want to go a different route than actually self publishing in print.  Linda

Hi Lynne and thank you for the warm welcome! Sorry for taking so long to get back to you. I just finished reading "Networking for Introverts" and it really spoke to my heart! I am an introvert with a passion for teaching. I'll be attending the Coaching with Excellence May 12-13 and your article was right on time! I look forward to reading all your posts and getting to know you and the other members of the 48days community!
